Can you explain a little more about how PMS girls pair up or choose an H2O? I have read the H2O PDF [really great BTW] - but still don't quite get the logistics of it. How do we know who to choose? Is picking an H2O mandatory? Is it something you do in the beginning or when you find someone that fits for you?

Now, I am a 1 day old recruit here - this may be something I find out more about later on. So sorry if I am jumping in.

Thanks!

PMS girls choose their H2o's when they feel comfortable. It is very encouraged to find someone that fits you. Read http://pmsclan.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1531 this link when you get a chance. This is an on-going topic that has been a problem for a while now. As far as I know, having an H2o is not mandatory. I may be wrong though. Hope this helped!

Stick to the rules of the thread guys^^^^

*What are the consequences and exact rules for a PMS/H2O being dropped by one of the other.

*What makes it good terms and what makes it bad terms?

*What happens when it becomes a mutual drop.

(Just basially that sort of thing.)

I have soo much more for you gyps but im not exactly sure if im within the lines of the questions you're looking for and because its 2am and i can't think.

*What makes it good terms and what makes it bad terms?

*What happens when it becomes a mutual drop.

Maybe a leader can speak on better behalf then I can, but to my understanding.. Ever since the pdf and h2o charter came out, theres been an "H2O Community" and an "H2O Clan" - The Community being those without a PMS, and the Clan being those with a PMS.

They aren't so diverse to where it matters- an h2o is an h2o regardless of whether they have a girl or not. But basically this allows the h2o's to stick around the community as h2os if they're dropped by their girl, if their girl leaves, or if its mutual (if one of those 3 happens, I believe the term for it is "evaporated"). I think the only way you can drop the h2o tag is if you either leave, or you're kicked out.

In my case, my girl dropped me, and then soon after left pms (long story, dont ask). Nobody has told me to take the h2o tag off- and when I talked to Vinx about it (the only guy on IRC at the time), he told me I was still an h2o. So whether I'm part of the community or the clan, who knows, but I'm still around wearing the colors happily.

Should the "O" in H2O be capitalized in gamertags or not? Mine is capitalized, but I see a lot of little Os around these days.

Well I dont know about the Xbox people, but the PC division is all lowercase.. both pms and h2o. But I dont care, so long as its not h20 (h two zero.. or h-twenty. Pet peeve :P).

Technically it should be capitalized becauze the O is representing oxygen and the correct way to put out H2o is H O.

Since pretty much everything cant work that way we just put it as H2O. IMO H2o looks soo much better but thats a personal thing of course.

A few H2o's and myself got called that on Halo 2 a few months back, we were blown away cause no one had ever called us "H-Twenty" We were used to "H2-[insert name]" or "Halo Two-[insert name]." and a countless others. But yeah, I think it is personal choice on how you have it.

We have not standardized the o or the h as O or H, mostly a matter of personal preference I agree.
H2O Community and H2O Clan is not differentiated by whether or not you have a PMS girl. The difference lies in the divisional status a member has.
If you are in an active division completing practices on a regular basis, and have fulfilled all the recruiting requirements, you will be considered H2O Clan. This is independent of whether or not you have a PMS girl.

H2O Community is for members who have stepped back from Clan status for whatever reason (their lives didn't allow them to fit the practice schedule, the game faded out of the spotlight...etc). In addition H2O Community is for H2Os who are not, nor were ever in H2O clan, but have been chosen by a PMS girl.

Hiya! :)

First off, I just want to let ALL the WONDERFUL PMS gurlz n ladies I've met over the last few weeks that I'm so glad I've met each of you! You are so much fun to spend time with--thanks for making Halo 2 a game I look forward to playing once again! :D

I have a question about the different divisions--Bravo, Delta, Charlie (is there also an Alpha?). What are the main differences between the divisions (if any)? Two different divisions have expressed interest in me joining their ranks (VERY surprising and flattering, ladies! Thanks for your kindness! ), and I'm not sure what I want to do at this point. Maybe if I knew a bit more about each of the divisions, that might help me decide what would be the best overall "fit" for me. I know I DO thrive on VARIETY--I get bored playing the same type of game over and over. So if one division varies its gameplay more consistently than another, that would be important for me to know!

I appreciate any input, here! Thanks in advance! :love2: :)

And Happy Holidays, everyone!!!

All righty, this is a great question. I'm sure many recruits before you have wondered this and a probably a few more after you will. You are right there are four divisions, the three that you have probably all ready attended practices with and Alpha which you have to be a member for thirty days I believe, and try out for. I can't really say that I have seen a big difference in the divisions. Everyone I have met has been incredibly nice, even girls I have met on other games, I haven't met a single girl from this clan that hasn't stood for what this clan is about sometimes wish I had more than 100 spots on my FL. The best thing you can do is try to attend as many practices with the divisions that are looking to pick you up. Try to go to different practices at different times. Different practice captains or divisions might have different gamestypes they play. I'm sure no matter what division you're in the prac. capt. would't mind hearing if you would like to play a certain gametype. I would just try to squeeze in as many practices with everyone before the beginning of next month when recruiting comes around. I know you'll be happy no matter where you end up and you are on my FL so we'll play together no matter where you go!! Good luck with your decision. I'm happy to hear that you are so comfy here, and we're all glad to have you!!

You do not have to change your tag if you do not choose to. That would be kinda dumb. Same goes for icons/symbols etc.

After = Leader Only

Leaders get to choose whether or not they want it before or after their name.

Just a bit of history:

In PMS, members of distinction or long time members, whether or not they were leaders, were permitted to have PMS at the end of their gamertag.

The policy has since changed, so that now only leaders may have PMS at the end of their gamertag. Nonetheless, you may still see today some former leaders or VIPs with PMS at the end of their tag.

I guess you need to be more specific? Who? What game?

It's up to the initiative of the individual/team.

I generally advise incoming players "if you are here for sponsorship rather than friendship, you probably should not be here" - it's just as a heads up to the folks who join the clan with the expectation of automatic sponsorship. It is a lot of hard work to obtain a sponsor, and the player should use her/his best effort toward obtaining sponsorship.

It is my understanding that unless you are proven, a top-ranked professional/competitive player, you should seek sponsorship independently. Even top-ranked, clan-sponsored players have to put forth a great deal of time and effort to maintain sponsor relations.

I hope this is helpful!

As always, however, I defer to Clan Leadership.

I should have been a bit more specific - my apologizes. There is some confusion regarding a PMS bringing in a male friend or family member as her H2O. Can PMS Randomchick bring in a friend/boyfriend/husband and because she is "sponsoring" him, does he automatically get an H2O tag or must he still recruit to a division? We were also wondering if there are different policies for "sponsorship" of a male looking to go straight into H2O Casual (ie PMS Randomchick's husband wants to join H2O but not be part of a division, only her H2O)

A PMS girl can sponsor 2 guys and up to 3 lifetime. That H2O bypasses recruitment and joins H2O Community. It is his option whether or not if he wants to play in a division. Be very careful with picking guys who you are in a relationship with as you are stuck with them. They are your H2O forever unless they leave the clan or extreme circumstances happen.

Oh, and for now I want to join the WoW Co-Ed division...who do I talk to about that...Do you have to be an official clan member before you join one?

We don't really have a set rule on age, certainly not just adults, typically its up to the discretion of the division leader.

Yes you have to attend orientation, you don't have to talk. You just have to verify you are there at the beginning either over mic or chat.

Wow has open recruitment, send a message to Athena, Arashi, or H2O Cele (Bombarta, Celeborn)

I have a question. If you dont have a computer how can you go to the orientation?

Attend orientation with your division leader via Xbox Live please get in contact who ever is managing your recruitment and they will help you.

H20 clan does not exist, quite a few people continue to misspell the tag. Our clan is H2O. You can use in your GT H2o but we prefer H2O for uniformity.
