OOOOK sooo I just got back from the Midnight showing of Paranormal Activity 2 and let me just tell you I have never been soo damn scared at a movie. EVER. I don't even really get scared in movies ever but this FREAKED my ish outt. Enough for me to still be awake at 3:30am and posting this thread. Sooo tell me what ya think cuz I think they did it really well. Just put a warning if you plan on spoiling anything cuz this movie is to amazing to ruin for anyone.

First one wasn't that great in my opinion so I'm no too excited for this one. I'm going to rent it when it comes out on DVD but I won't see it in theaters haha

I'm probably going to see it tonight, that last one was awesome, and I love scary movies so I'm not one to get scared easily but this one is different. But when she got dragged out of bed on the first one I was scared to fall asleep in my own bed...thinking something might drag my leg!

The second one I think won't be as good but I could be wrong it might be equally scary. Hope so. I just hate the commercials for it, they are ruining all the good scenes by showing you what happens ahead of time. I have to turn my head everytime so it doesn't spoil it for me. I hate you movie commercials! You ruin everything! lol

Not going to go see it. The first one was REALLY dumb and couldn't hold my attention at all. Goes into some dumb part for about fifteen minutes, and then hits what's supposed to be a "thrilling" part (but really isn't) for like three minutes, hated that.

If people say that the first one was good, and the second one is just as good, or even better, I have no purpose in seeing this.

The movie itself was actually pretty good, not great, but I liked it. For those of you who plan on watching it on dvd, of course your not going to be as scared as you would be if you saw it in theatres because your in the comfort of your own home and its not as dark or as loud as it is in the theatres.

^ Agreed, I believe that since the first one made over $107 million dollars on an estimated 11,000 budget, that the profit from the first is the only reason they made a sequel...kinda like they did with The Blair Witch Project.

im going to wait for the blue-ray not because i didnt like the 1st one (i did since it was better than watching SAW or any rob zombie movie) but because of the screen shaking. while it wasnt as bad as cloverfields shake it was still a little too much for me.

Wellp I dont know, I had a freind tell me the second wasn't very good, but another told me it was pretty scary. I'll proboly wait untill it comes out on dvd because I laughed all the way through the first one. I seem to do that alot when It comes to scary movies. I did that through a lot of "Scary" Movies. But if I do watch it, it wont be likley to be in a theatre.

P.S. During the first movie, They had paramedics waiting outside the theater just in case, was it the same for you people?

I watched it saturday. My main concern was when the commercial showed the mother being dragged down the stairs, that's when it got to the point I had to ignore the commercials because it was ruining the experience for me. But after watching it I loved it! There's no way if I was in that man's shoes..that I would stay with that lady. I'd leave her and say good luck, ceya! lol
