I played it on my friend's Game Cube yesterday and loved it. I only have a PS2 though, so does anyone know if the game is really ****ty on the PS2 or is it ok? If it sucks, someone suggest a good game I should get for PS2 that'll take me a while to beat (preferably with zombies!) My computer broke so I am resorting to my PS2 until it's fixed lol.

Hey Spazzie! I had the limited edition Resi Evil 4 Gamecube pack but I completed the game on the PS2 version. It plays the same and it does take a bit of time to play through. I would recommend it if you like Resident Evil games.

the control's are supposedly really bad in the ps2 version (never played it myself) but all my friends said that it wasn't that great on ps2, and looks better on gamecube.
i would get it, just because RE is a good series, and might as well have it.
but if you don't want to get it, a really good ps2 game is Devil May Cry 3 (http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?type=11&stype=all&qs=devil+may+cry+3&x=0&y=0), it doesn't exactly have zombies, but you get to kill a lot.
or Shadow of the Colossus (http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?type=11&stype=all&tag=search%3Bbutton&qs=shadow+of+the+colossus&x=0&y=0), an extremely beautiful looking game, and the monsters are soo cool looking. check those out.

I actually liked it better on PS2 :/ And it has more stuff.
You get to play as Ada Wong more, too.

Ya.. if ur a fan of the RE series, its a good game to play. Controls can be a bit tricky to get a grasp on for awhile... I have been playing them since PS1 :) One thing i wished they do is make a better on-line play for the outbreak series.. Possibly chat? I kno they keep the communication to a minimum because of the "scare/adventure" factor... but if ya hear ya buddies go on the mic "HELP ME, im in room 101" adds a suspense, as i see it, just my opinion.

Totally. I think this is one of the best game-play/story the ps2 has!!!!!

Game Cube all the way for this game. They just did a better job than the PS2 counter-part. I love playing it so much. This is one of the main reasons me and my mom got the cube.
Yeah, we got the gamecube for the REs too. I preferred the gc ones over the ps2 as well.
I've liked the whole resident evil series ever since i was little. so it's all good.
