So...... I just picked up this game, and first time playing RTs, and I am flat out BAD at this game lol. Ive tried a few different build orders, thought that I was doing ok building.. but I just cant keep up with even other bad players. Im a bit at a loss. If I play defensively they still come in with bigger and badder stuff then me, and if i rush (and I thought fairly quickly) most of the time they got mass turrets and vehicles up already.
So anyways, just thought Id laugh at myself some more and see if there is ANYONE out there as bad as me? :P

Sure! I would love to play with someone more toward my skill level lol. I am actually a little bit surprised at the level of opponents I have faced in bronze in comparison to me. It seems that if I fail on my initial rush, I get killed every time. I guess I just dont know enough about mid-late game strategy/build yet. But I am getting addicted, even with my suckiness lol.
But yeah, i am completely new to RTS, so i expected to be pretty bad for a bit. Its fun to learn. :)
I am up to 10-22 now :)

RTS games rock my socks, I'm not a big PC gamer so miss out on so many great RTS.

Sure I am game to play, when do you usually get online? I am usually not on until around 10pm est though, but Id be game to play sometime if not tonight.

Do you watch vid s of other players i learned alot of styles of playing just by ewatching replays of matches. now i know really good rush strts that normaly make me win :) Im also a Toss player.

However, that was my beta. I do suggest watching HuskyStarcraft's build order videos and start from there.

you think thats bad? mine is 0-0... i cant start until i have all the parts to build my comp since the laptop i had just didnt cut it. almost there and ill be able to scare randoms by choosing "Random" when selecting a race.
