I heard apple was having trouble with their newest iPhone model. Does anyone know what's wrong with them because I wanted to buy one.

The antenna or something like that. From what I've heard, if you place your hand on a certain spot, it blocks the signal from coming into your phone, which results in dropped calls fairly often.

I heard that Apple released like a phone case that is suppose to make the antenna work better. Seems kinda like a cheap-fix, but who knows?

The case was always around they just decided to refund cases and give cases away for free until i believe mid october when ever Iphone is going to come with a case.

It isn't really a cheap fix as I am pretty sure anyone that spends 200-300 dollars on a phone is going to buy a case for it anyways so they don't fubar it.

Plus the antenna thing that everyone is quirking about is the same on almost any smart phone. Apple did a case study on it.

So will they be refunded their phones with new ones (if they come out)? Or is apple not gonna do anything about it.

They aren't refunding the phones, they just decided since the cases made for it remove the problem they gave the cases away for free.

My was just talking to a friend and he went today for his iPhone case and he didn't get it free. He had to pay. Was it like a limited time thing?

You have to do it online at Apples site.I heard apple was havinghttp://www.pmsclan.com/forum/showthread.php?p=655980&posted=1#post655980 trouble with their newest iPhone model.Since the antenna is located on the outside of the phone, if you squeeze the bottom-left hand corner (known as the "death grip") on the seam where the antenna stops, it short-circuits the antenna resulting in loss of signal.

Another problem were yellow-tinted screens (which also appeared on the 3GS)

Okay thanks for clarifying that.
