I just installed cs 1.6 and source and everytime I start the game or a server cahnges maps it will mute my mic. But when I look at vent its not muted and I have to go under the options and unclick then reclick my hot key option. Its annoying and time consuming does anyone have a fix for this?
I dont have the key in use for anything else in game.

Do you have push to talk enabled? Which sound card do you have?

yeah push to talk, soundcard is onboard nothing special as far as i know

take a screenshot of your vent setup so I can help you more easier. Also update your onboard sound card drivers while your at it.
