I know this happened 4 days ago but I didn't see any post on it and thought it was appropriate to mention it to us sports fans.

Cory Lidle, major league pitcher, was killed in a plane crash on Wednesday. The then Yankees pitcher was piloting the private plane himself when he crashed into a 50-story building in Manhattan. The 34 year old leaves behind a wife and son. 2 people died in the plane crash but no-one inside the building was hurt. I had watched Lidle start a few games for the Yankees on ESPN and he seemed a good pitcher. He had played in the major leagues for 9 seasons and 7 different teams in his career.

In reality, his pitching skills sucked. I'm not trying to be mean but he was a terrible pitcher with a terrible work ethic. Instead of trying to improve his game and his attitude, he would go flying. He was an ******* and extremely lazy. Regardless, it is still sad to see someone leave behind a family.
