About the communicators. As well as some of you may know is that the default ones xbox gave everyone when buying it break easily. So i was playing for about a year with a broken headset. then my dad gave me the wierdest idea. to try and plug in a cell phone headset into the xbox communicator jack and it works. It actually works really well. so uh just some useful information some of you might want to know or not. I'm just posting this because i thought this was pretty cool haha.

Hmm did you never experiment with the orignal xbox or what? lol But yeah whenever my headset was not acting right, I would just use a cell headset. :)

yeah, but with the phone headset you can't adjust the volume or mute and unmute yourself.

The mute unmute thing works for me. But yeah i've never tryed anything like this haha. i thought it was pretty sweet.

I used one of those for over 8 months. Just got a better mic yesterday.

Yup. Thank goodness for Microsoft choosing the 2.5mm universal microphone jack instead of taking the Sony route, which, ya know, they make you pay 20 bucks for a special one.

You would figure it would work, you can even use your xbox mics with phones. And you could adjust volume and mute with any mic on the xbox, if you remember the peice tthat plugs into the top of the controller.
