Alright so I downloaded an MP3 of my favorite band live. I didnt like the fact that the whole concert was 1 big ol song so i downloaded some program(wavepad) so i could split it up into different files(or different tracks). When I split them into their own songs, each file became huge and i can only fit like half the songs on my ipod lol. So yeah could anyone help me out. They were put into wav. files if that means anything.(yeah i dont know much)

Most programs like that let you save the individual files with specific parameters. You should be able to choose the type of audio file you want it to be. You should also be able to choose a bitrate and quality. If you can't figure out how to do that check the help directory (if it has one).

You don't have to redo anything really just convert the songs you cut into mp3 format thats lower bitrate than it is now. If you are using iTunes just select all I believe you can right click and convert it to a smaller size.
