So, i'm pretty happy with having the ability to read on my blackberry, and my PC using Amazon Kindle software... but, now I'm thinking it would be nice to own a Kindle, and I love the idea of the text to speech option.

However, I was looking at the Nook as well, only for the fact it offers Wi-Fi. The Kindle has 3g Wireless, so that would be okay too I guess.

There is a new Kindle coming out in October, but I dont' know what the real differences are, so perhaps I should wait and see.

Anyone have either, Kindle or Nook, and what are your thoughts?

*** As a side note, overnight the Kindle was just reduced $70.... hmmm.... now that makes me think!!!

I think they're at Target too... but you can go into Best Buy and hold the Nook and the new Sony eReader as well. Not sure about the Kindle though.

The Nook has this thing where you can go into B&N every like, Tuesday, or something and you can download a free book. They have some other cool features too whenever you go into a B&N. The Kindle I believe has the largest book selection (I could be wrong) but that's mostly because a lot of "unpublished" authors put their stuff up for sale on the Kindle. May be true for the Nook as well. Not really sure how the Sony eReader does books.

What about an iPad =P jk but go into Target or Best Buy and play with them a little bit :D
