On the PS2 the 3rd person seemed to work from what I saw with the older games but tbh on the PS3 it just really looks awkward to me.

The controls seemed wonky because the person playing was using the PS Move controller. They have retro controls for people who are going to use the regular Dualshock controller.

If the game is not good I will be bringing it back as well. I hope Zipper are not rushing it so they can make it before Christmas time. I would wait a little more if I have too so the game can be actually complete this time.

I just cried. I hope and pray online play is as good as the single player mode. It's the main reason why I played Socom was to go online. I feel like there is hope in the world now. :mvclap:

Also I looked at the Socom Confrontation..I was thinking about renting it but the game looks soo glitchy.
Examples I just watched..

Shooting the wall even though your aiming at someone.
Throwing a nade into the water and it blowing up in a weird spot nowhere near where you threw it into/
Throwing nades from out behind a wall..seemed to not go where you threw them.

Don't get Socom Confrontation. Wait until Socom 4 comes out. Socom Confrontation does have first person but you can do both. It depends on the person on the way they play the game. I do Third person on it because that's how pervious socom was.

Ok good to know you have the option, thanks for the info. As for renting Socom Confrontation I will not rent it. I'll wait to check out the new one...if they ever send it to me lol. Sometimes it takes a long time to get the newest games through Gamefly...so when you actually do get them they are "old" lol
