Ok so yday i got a HDMI cable for my 360 Elite but when i plug it in my tv says "no signal". I use HDMI for ps3 nd it works fine there on the same channel. It said on the manual that the xbox will go to hdmi automatically but it didnt. And i cant change settings for hdmi with the original cable cause its not hdmi:(. I noticed my controller light blinks a couple times aswell???
Can any1 help?????...Please:D:D

I read that there is a problem with a lot of the Elite systems and their HDMI ports. I had the exact same problem. Not much there is to do I am afraid. I would suggest you use the component cables, unless you are up for putting $150 down for an Arcade version, or $300 for the new slim.

Where did you buy it from? Look on your receipt and see what the return date is for the Xbox and see if you can exchange it. If nothing else... I don't see why you couldn't return the HDMI cable itself.

Legolas.. Stick with your PS3 :P.. Im not sure what happens on a xbox but I know that you have to hold down the power button on the ps3 to reset the display configuration maybe you do on xbox? (I'm guessing here)
Any settings on your tv which might be stopping it? Or If you have more than 2 HDMI ports try the other one...
Im just throwing out all my ideas here.. and plus you have probably already solved it anyway so im going to shut up now, peace. xoxox

HDMI problems usually stem from the device or the cable, rarely from the television. First I would recommend trying the HDMI cable you bought for your 360 on the PS3 and if it works, then you know it's the Xbox and should try to return it or get it sent out for repair, as it is still covered under warranty.

I'm pretty sure there is no diffrence between the xbox and ps3 HDMI cables, as HDMI is like USB, its a universal port. If both cables work on PS3 and not xbox than your xbox is defenantly at fault here. Send it in : P
