GENERAL APPLICATION:
1.) Are you applying to be a Raider, casual guild member, or transfer from another divisions? Ehhhh...I'd like to be a raider, but my work schedule is too flippant to commit. I can show up when needed, or I can be about an hour to an hour-and-a-half late on raid nights when I work. I'm just going to apply as a raider, and see if it's acceptable to you
Basic Information
Game Name (Handle):Notos
Gender (This is so we can classify you as PMS or H2O in the clan): Male
Are you a minor? lololol. No.
Occupation (Scool, Working stiff, both?):School, but working stiff for the summer.
Other MMOs before WoW?: The Realm Online (Ooooh, nostalgia)
Do you have any active alts?: Not really. Like everyone else, I have a level 80 dk.
Contact IM's: BenWNoble@hotmail.com (MSN), ramblin squee (AIM)
General Questions
1. How did you find out about PMS/H2O Clan? From Strangebru.
2. Have you previously recruited for the PMS/H2O Clan?:Newp.
3. Have you Read and Understood Recruitment Rules & Guidelines?: Yarp.
4. Tell us a little about yourself and your interests: I'm a 22 year old student, going into education with a focus on English Literature, and History. I live in Michigan, which just so happens to be the third-best beer state in the US. Hell yeah. Oh, I like beer. It's pretty good. I like to play disc golf, read, and I'm into good: whiskey, beer, gin, movies, books, and music. I've been an avid gamer since I was about 2, and have been a HUGE fan of RPGs. I tend to look into the story and character developments more than anyone else I know who games. I also like playing DnD. yeah, I'm a nerd.
I've played WoW since Vanilla, and started about 2 months after the release. I've been pretty loyal to my friends in game, and have tried my hardest to make things work as best I can. I've been a raider since MC days, and did some PvP here and there. I was never Grand Marshal, but I did hit Field Marshal, which I lost the record of in my server transfer from Shadow Moon :(
I am a little elitist about my skills as a dps warrior, but that comes from being one of three fury warriors in Vanilla/BC that could actually raid as fury before the big buffs to it as a PvE talent tree. I learned my raiding techniques and mannerisms from <Eternals>, who were nationally/globally ranked in Vanilla and BC. But, I'm not exactly as die hard as they were, and like to share what I know about it and see others do well who want to give forth the effort. I'm a nice guy, with a LOT of patience, and not leading a guild will make me be even moreso like that.

Please fill out the below section ONLY if you are interested in raiding in the guild
Note: You must be level 80 with minimum 5200 GS and 7k DPS in ICC. Trial run does not mean automatic raid slot. Please take your application seriously and communicate with officers over raiding expectations
RAIDING APPLICATION
Our raid days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thrusday 8pm - 12am server time. Can you make these days on a consistent basis and if not, why? (We also run old content and 10 mans for our casual/undergeared/alts on weekends.) I would be able to show up LATE (9-9:30 pm) if need be on a consistent time frame, however my work schedule is not set, and therefore I do not have a set day(s) off that I can count on, save for Saturdays. I can stay 'til about 5am too, though. So I mean, whatever works.
System Information
1. Do you have Vent installed, do you have a mic, and will you be able to contribute intelligently?: If you have nothing smart to say, you have nothing to say at all. At least, in a raid setting.
2. Is your connection stable? Can we expect disconnects at any point?:Newp. Unless the power goes out.
3. Any issues with your latency in relation your location? Are you laggy?:Nope.
4. Are you able to install and run the required mods for raids (Omen Threat Meter, Deadly Boss Mods, EPGP DKP Reloaded, EPGP Lootmaster) What raider doesn't have Omen, DBM already loaded up? If the DKP stuff is required, by all means it's on my addon list.
Raid History
1. Pre-BC: Molten Core, Black Wing Lair, Onyxia, Ahn'Quiraj 20, half of Ahn'Quiraj 40 (Up to Twin Emps), Zul'Gurub, and keyed for Naxxramas, but never got in.
2. BC: Karazhan, Gruul, Magtheridon, Serpent Shrine Cavern, The Eye, Mount Hyjal, Black Temple, and Zul'Aman.
3: WotLK: Naxx, Onyxia, Ulduar, Obsidian Sanctum, Eye of Eternity, ICC (11/12 in 10, 9/12 in 25), and ToC.
4: Armory link (Please log in your PvE gear):http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Auchindoun&cn=Notos
If you have anything you think we might deem 'weird' about your gear, gems, or spec, please justify it here. It's "weird" that as a fury warrior I don't stack full armor pen gems. I just find it retarded, since all of the fury talents base off of strength. I've boycotted the moronic activity of stacking a stat that won't let you pass 100% of the 70% armor available to ignore, like some people.
5. Professions: Blacksmithing and JC. I have a LOT of bs plans/patterns.
6. How do you research your class to improve yourself and learn about what is on the horizon? I check new talent trees, I look at Elitistjerks.com, I listen to what people are saying and talking about, and I read blue posts. However, I take it all with a grain of salt, realizing that 90% of that crap is all theory crafting.
7. What is your primary interest in raiding? (i.e. downing content, loot, progression races, etc) Downing stuff. Loot's a plus, but I'm pretty well-set on that.
8. Please post a recent World of Logs / WOWMeters, or SSes of recent raids.:Have to talk to Strangebru about that.
9. Please post a screenshot of your UI. This is simply a screenshot of your view of the screen): http://i50.tinypic.com/9qa5qx.jpg
Miscellaneous Questions:
1. What is your current guild? <I Popped Her Trinket>. It's a holding place, since I'm friends with Aeleyon Past guilds?: I was in a few on Shadowmoon in Vanilla WoW, but since I've been on Auchindoun, I was in <Revolution> through to the end, then created <Its a Trap> (yes, I know there's a typo...apparently can't have apostrophes in a guild name :( ), then to <Undecided>, which was a failure. And have since just kind of taken it easy.
2. Reasons for leaving said guild? (Points for providing a reference): Revo was having a lot of issues, so we called it quits and split up, we merged Trap with KLR, which caused a lot of issues due to misunderstandings/alterior motives of others, and that caused Undecided to collapse. Sad panda :(
3. Who do you know in guild? Did someone recommend you? Strangebru. Not sure if he recommended me but...
4. What do you plan to bring with you personally ("consumables, flasks, and repair money" is obvious. Tell us why you will make a great raider):I make a great raider because I'm competent, was a guild leader, and one of the four raid leaders in Trap/Revo/Undecided, I'm capable, I research my class and the fights. I expect others to perform as I do, which is at their very best, every night. I rarely do screw up on mechanics, but when I do, I either fix it on the fly (like any raider ought to), or I ask for assistance if others can see what I'm doing, or do research about it.
5. How do you stand up to criticism or suggestions? Are you capable of following general rules and expectations? I expect to be told if I'm ******* up, so long as there's sufficient evidence for me to correct myself on. (i.e., don't just be like "GOD DAMNIT RABBLERABBLE DON'T DIE!" Well, if I've died because healers are slacking/tank can't hold aggro off anyone/drops aggro mid-fight, well...I feel that's not entirely my fault. But if I'm unloading before the tank gets aggro, or I'm standing in the herpes on the floor, well...that's my fault).
7. How much do you play outside of raiding? Do you log right after, do you PvP, do you have any accomplishments that you'd like to share? If stuff is going on, I'll stick around. I usually hang around for an hour or so after to see if anything's going on. Then I'll log, but I'll usually be hanging out on vent for a while after, or be online if anyone needs to get a hold of me.
8. Determination, skill, and respect are high factors in raiding. Will you bring these with you, especially the former of the three? I'm determined to be the best of the best that there is. Without skill, that doesn't happen. Without respect of others and my officers, I'll never be given the chance to prove that I deserve my raid spots. Mutual respect is what drives a guild forward; everyone (including gms, officers, and top-performing raiders) is replaceable. There's always someone willing to learn more, do more, and push themselves harder.
9. Raiding can be tough, but we pride ourselves on pushing progression when we can. Can we count on you? Are you on board with us for these times? As I said before: if I have a night off, and you want me there, by all means I will show up and be on early, and be off late. If I'm scheduled to work, I'll be able to show up about half-an-hour late, and be able to stay later if we want to extend time.
