I know some games with the disc just put the files onto your hard drive. Does this disc do that or do you play from that disc?

My friend had this, and basically, it allows you to download the DLC onto the hard drive. You can't actually play the game with just the DLC disc.

Now I just have to find some one willing to let me borrow it to put the DLC on my HD and save me 1600 MSP. I just got 1000/1500 on the game and it's only been 3 days.
