but on another note, i dont know why there has to be one better than the other. they are both a crucial part of the Justice League (along with wonder woman) and what one of them lacks the other makes up for. Batman/Superman: Public Enemies movie is a perfect example.

i think you meant "Bruce Wayne is Batman putting on a costume" as its been told in the comics, JL cartoon series and in the movies Bruce Wayne is just to keep people from suspecting and to keep his company going. as he told wonder woman when she asked if he ever wished he was "down there" with the rest of us he said "im down there all i need to be".

and superman BECAME superman. he wasn't super powered when he arrived. he was a normal kid (from another planet) but thanks to our yellow sun he soon started developing his powers but over time. not 3 hours under our sun and boom he was off!

not dissing superman of course. i give him props and respect for going up against Doomsday more than once and all he does. but when i was born, the yellow that affected me was the bright yellow light of the Bat-Signal.

Either way they had to "grow" into the superhero's that they are. And I meant Bruce wayne has to put on a costume to become batman, superman puts on a human costume to blend in.

Only someone who could dedicate his life to prevent what happened to his parents from happening to anyone else, without resorting to the use of guns and firepower, is a much bigger hero than a cheesy guy with a big S on his chest. I keed, I keed. Both heroes have their strong points but I think Batman is more relateable because he is human, has flaws, but he overcomes his flaws to better himself. He is truly a master at everything. Superman flies, shoots laser beams from his eyes, blows really cold air, and can punch things really hard. Big whoop. He has one weakness: Kryptonite. Batman's weakness is his humanity, and every night that he goes out, he risks not coming back home. Definitely way more of a hero than Superman will EVER be.
