it is a series of epic fantasy novels written by Terry Goodkind. The books follow the protagonists Richard Cypher, Kahlan Amnell and Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander on their quest to defeat oppressors who seek to control the world and those who wish to unleash evil upon the world of the living.

its is now turned into a television show on abc called legend of the seeker.

anyone else read the books or watched the show?

As you already know, I love it! Seen every show of Legend of the Seeker. Still need to finish reading the books. Gonna check at the library soon to see if they have it there. They probably won't, though, since it's a base library. Blargh.

I've not gotten around to reading the books, but I'd seen all of Season 1 of The Legend of the Seeker.

I'll have to go read the books and probably watch season 2...lol

Hmm...I've heard about the books but never got around to reading them. I used to read a lot of Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman stuff in highschool, and have the Icewindale trilogy on my bookshelf:D

Might check these books out, and exercise my brain:)

the first one is called the wizards first rule!
it took me about fifty pages to really get addicted to the book but after that i really couldn't put it down anymore...

i wanna do a legend of the seeker cosplay omg omg.

this is the costume i will eventually attempt making @_@

I read the first book years ago and didn't care for it. Maybe the TV show is better. I didn't know they made a TV series out of it.
