some simple ?'s for sigmakers

1. How long on average does it take for you to make one?
2. What program you use (Photoshop for most im guessing)
3. is there a free version of photoshop? if so..let me know, i wanna learn and help the sig teams :)

1. depends. if we really want to make it cool looking, then 30 min and above, but my simple ones can take like 10 min. like for example my fort minor sig probably took 15 min or less. it's really a simple sig lol.

2.Photoshop CS2.

3. there is gimp, which is a free photoshop service, i myself haven't tried it, so i can't tell you anything about it, here's a link: http://www.gimp.org/

1.Usually over an hour. Sometimes I may get one done in 45 minutes, but the longer I take generally the better it is. I don't personally prefer doing quick 10 minute sigs myself because they are usually crappy, but that's my choice and opinion.

2.Photoshop 7.0 and CS2 (depending on what PC I'm on_

Cost-varies on where you buy it and if you have any discounts, but it can range anywhere from $250 to $650. If you have an old version of photoshop (like me having 7.0) you can pay only $150 to get the CS2 upgrade

Depends... anywhere from 10 min. to 1+ hours. If I have to render a pic for a sig (like my Dethklok sig) that can take anywhere from 30 min. to several hours. In the end it all just depends on how well I wanna make a sig, and what mood im in.

As for the program, I use Photoshop 7... but im gonna get cs2 very soon.
