This has got to be one of the most retarded ideas I've seen in a couple of weeks; you can now powerlevel your Xbox 360 gamerscore.
3000GS = $239.99. Who the hell is willing to pay someone to add something as useless as gamerscore to their account?
And hell, $240 bucks will buy you four Xbox 360 games, with the potensial score of 4k, and you even get to have some fun while doing so.

For more information about this dreadful service, see http://www.levelmy360.com/

you know it was only a matter of time before someone started doing this

lol, paying others to play games for you . . . wow

people have already done it. 60 bucks for 750 points.

in my opinion who ever thought of this idea is a freakin genious, because, no offense to some of you here, the 360 has some pathetic fanboy's that want the gamerscore points, and will get them no matter what. microsofts main fanbase (again no offense to you guys) is complete and utter retards. i wish i would have thought of this idea sooner, those guys are probably rolling in doe right now.

yea they r makin a killin of lazy gamers who don't got time 2 enjoy their games.I remember when I beat Call of Duty 2 on Vet and got all the points it made me feel like I can get any gamerpoints on any game.....They will neva have that feelin if they get some1 else to do it....:)

Um, I don't think its unique to 360 users at all, or even gaming at all for that matter. Think of some of those games where you can have people farm gold or whatever and pay for it, there are plenty of examples in real life that similar services are provided at outrageous fees for things similar. I have no doubt you'll find any console with the right gametype or whatnot will have the same type of thing. In fact this 'company' will probably do the same thing for PS3's 'entitlements'.

We've seen this on many companies for the PC. With XBL, it was only a matter of time.

The saddest part is that they're surely just using game saves for the points. So not only do you get ripped off (they can do the points in less than an hour), but I'm sure your profile shows that you cheated due to achievement order/dates.

[...] microsofts main fanbase (again no offense to you guys) is complete and utter retards. [...]How the hell can you add "no offense" to a sentence like that? Is there a difference between a "main fanbase" and "main customers/users"? In either case, you just called a couple of million people for retards, a conclusion I assume you haven't really put much thought into and I would like to see you defend this. The people you're talking about are the "achievement-whores", and I woudn't really concider them retarded neither.
Actually, it seems like the hardcore fans of the console are those who hardly care about gamerscore, those who I know who's been playing on Live since the release of Halo 2, and went out and got a 360, hardly cares about their gamerscore and got around 1000-1500.

I think that gamerscore is a pretty good idea, as it will add a certain replay-value to a game, and make you try and do things that you normally woudn't do.
There are a couple of achievements that actually feels like achievements, and a lot that's just crap.
And seeing how Sony are to copy the achievements for their PS3 with it's entitlements, it seems that Sony's main fanbase will also become "complete and utter retards", which means you just added another potential 100 million to your list of retards.

Well generally the last political election was so polar, each side saw the number of votes and proclaimed that they clearly knew 50 million Americans were idiots, so i guess we're not too far off ;-) (yea that didn't really have a point)

I played just about everything MMOs out there from UO to just up to level 5 in wow, might sound crazy that people will do such stuff but it is very common to see such stuff happening on MMOs. I remember when Ultima Online had it's very first house placement, the biggest you can get is a castle. Well as soon as people placed thier homes, there wasn't any spots left to place anymore houses so people were going to ebay and buying castles for $2000.

This is what i´ve found to be very true also. GS are not to be confused with skill, it simply shows that you have the time , money and interest to play alot of games..while ppl with low GS are often very skilled in the games they have.
Of course it is stupid to pay for GS, and so is modding stand bying in halo2..same principal. But i would not say these ppl are representativ for the xbox community at all. I dont think we have more "retards" then any other console community. :)

Achivements are for fun, and some take it more important then others..like in everything else.

I'm only suprised Microsoft aren't behind it, they may even sell cards with 1000 gamerpoints on it that you can buy to redeem on your gamertag =P

I completely agree, I'm normally the type of persone who's completely happy beating a game's easy mode and then leaveing it alone for a long long time, but the gamersocre points encourage me to try the harder modes or attempt gaming feats I would normally shrug my shoulders to. And it's alreade been said, but I also think this "gamerscore powerleveling" a really silly idea.

i disagree. i get excited with playing on harder difficulties without stupid points. i mean sure, you beat it on hard or w/e, and it flashes "achievement unlocked" or w/e, and your like "ALRIGHT!" but i get more enjoyment from playing on harder difficulties than easy one's, because it makes the game more challenging, and last longer. so saying that you would shrug your shoulders at playing at a higher difficulty just because it doesn't flash "achievement unlocked" is pretty shallow. any gamer should get excited for beating it on hard, without points you "have" to get.

sure it's a silly idea, but you can't deny that you wish you would have thought of it, i mean, they are getting paid by idiots, to play games that take like 5 hours to beat. lmao, i want that job.

No one's ever said you "have" to get the points, but I, being the type of gamer that I am, find them fun and somewhat encouraging. I'm not, by any means, a hardcore gamer that has to beat every game I have on the hardest difficulty. I find beating it once sufficient, the gamerscore points up the replay value, for me.

and lol, while they are getting paid, no I don't wish I thought of it. I find the whole concept silly, and wouldn't promote it even if I had thought of it first. Just because they're making money off of it, doesn't make it any less silly, imo.

The idea is that you get to earn something tangible for the additional work you'd have to put in for the harder difficulty, i don't see anything wrong with that at all, I find it to be motivation. In fact it might hurt MS because if someone finds additional replayability in a game, they don't want to buy more games :p Still I personally like it.

The sad thing is that there are 20 bids for his account. And shipping for $35-$50? I could ship the hard drive for less than $10 if I wanted to. I actually wouldn't be as nice as calling the people who bid on that auction a retard, but to keep it PG I will. :) I like getting achievements, but this and the company selling gamerscore points are pathetic.

Even with achievements and without the points, I would have more incentive to replay a game on a difficult mode than glory. The achievements also serve as proof in a way
so you can how you have actually done certain things.

The points can make people seem a little shallow, I agree. If they were taken off but achievements still remained I wouldn't be all that fussed, but would 'powerlevelling' still be around? The FFXI achievements would definately be one that people cheat to get.

A lot of the high gamerscore rollers have used a sort of Action Replay for the 360 to get their points. So I don't know why you'd pay someone when you could get it for free (but by modding your 360).

Let them have their cake.

Achievements are fun. Plain and simple. Adds competition among friends (and family members), gives you a sense of pride and completion and adds replay value to a game.

I being a 360 fan, is also apparently a complete and utter retard, as well. Sure I like games, sure I like achievements and competition among friends and family, but I'm not going to ***** my account out just to get points that I DIDN'T EARN. Kind of defeats the purpose of an achievement, doesn't it?

But hey, if that still makes me a complete and utter retard, so be it.

you mean they are selling gamer points, as in the points you get when you unlock an atchivment????? thats just dumb but smart, they can make good money on that, but still, that just plan wack, that does not show that you errand those points by unlocking the atchivment, it only shows that you got money and you are spending it stupiedly. me well i like the atchivments, which shows what i have done, which is pretty cool, but just to play games for that only reason is wird, but i still like the gamer score thing, but buying your points is pethetic.

You belive this is an official service from Microsoft? Take a look at the site, it requires you to give up info about your Passport-account as well as send them cash through PayPal.
If Microsoft were to provide, or even endorse a service like this, the gamerscore system would be a joke within two days, and it's bad enough already, with the people downloading saves and such.

So that's "wha tthe F" I'm talking about.

I like how Rance6 tried to sell his account and then said it's a bad system, too many cheaters. Alright there Rance (aka hypocrite), it was working just fine until everyone decided to mod their 360's and download game saves. How is that even fun!? You're just seeing who can download the most game saves the fastest, let alone you're not even playing them!

The legit gamerscore people are right around where ST TheKing is. Do you think Microsoft will do anything about this eventually?
