First batch of RBN Tracks hitting the PS3 on 4/22!

Yup! Thats right 8D We're getting 5 brand new songs from the RBN tomorrow! :D 5 songs from 5 band thats ive never heard of that I probably won't buy 8D All songs will be 0.99 unless HMX rips us off and doubles the price lol. Anyways, here's the post from the rock band forums

Hey gang,

We're thrilled to announce that tomorrow (Thursday 4/22) we'll see the first batch of Rock Band Network tracks hit the PS3! We've looked at the download numbers and the feedback on the forums and we've put together a selection of some of the most popular tracks for this initial group. Here's what's hitting the PS3 tomorrow:

Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies (Live)
Jonathan Coulton - Code Monkey
The Shins - Australia
The Slip - Even Rats
Steve Vai - For the Love of God (Live)

We're still going to keep any eye on the forum feedback to put together future releases on the PS3, and we'll continue to work with Sony to ensure that we're able to get as much content out as consistently as possible without disrupting the regular weekly RB DLC flow. We're still working on finding the best RBN solution for the Wii, which has it's own entirely different set of technical challenges, but we'll let you know as soon as we have more news.

In my opinion, since im not familiar with any of those artists, for the love of god is the only one worth buying out of the 5... the guitar chart is hard but not so hard that its a pain to finish the rest are all just...easy...lol

You've never heard of Coulton at least? If you play RB you should at least know of him.
The price was established with the original song author/label. HMX technically cannot change the price of the song without written consent from the author/label.

I highly encourage you all to pick up Drunken Lullabies and I'm not saying that because my company (and fellow clan mates) authored it. It's a very popular, fun and challenging song for all. Come on, it has a badass drum solo, and banjo playing.

We're dubbing this RockGamer Studios Pack 01 for PS3. All of these were charted by me and my company. I'm so stoked! PS3 is getting some really good songs.
