Definitely, or could be interpreted as similar as Burnout as well. As for people colliding into you, it's just part of the strategy to try and beat you in a turn. Sometimes, you just gotta be aggressive :)

I just got my hands on the demo the other day, and I can say it's one of the most entertaining racing games, if not the most entertaining racing game I've played in a very long time. And like what Tempest, k1d and others have said, it's like Mario Kart on some crazy good stuff that you can only buy from that one dude Jerome, yeah it's just like that.
