So I hear park rangers aren't all heros...

Funny yet terrible story that just happened. My parents were biking through a park kinda far from us, which will remain nameless for certain purposes. Well, turns out they got 3 flats on the trail, and no way to patch it up, cause they only brought enough stuff to patch up one flat with. Now, my mother just had surgery on her foot, she can bike because she's not putting as much pressure as walking on it, but she shouldn't walk far on it. So, they get flat tires 7 miles from where they parked. And oh look, they found 2 park rangers in their vehicle after walking for a bout 2 miles. My parents asked if they could be driven back to the truck they brought their bikes in, or if at least my mother could be taken back. Turns out the park rangers just laughed in my parents face and said no, they're not going to help them.

Yeah, so....if a park ranger is around, and you're stranded, don't ask for help, you'll just get laughed at.

Ok? This was probably an isolated incident with some people who are just mean spirited, yeah it did suck for your parents but I'm willing to bet most park rangers are fine at their job.

True, you're probably right, but even so, why even take a job as park ranger if you're just going to screw over people? If I had said what city its in, that'd probably explain things.:mvshakefist:

Probably why anyone would take a job doing anything, because they needed the money and thought it would be an easy enough job.
