New Resident Evil movie

So the new one is announced. Resident Evil: Afterlife and I'm sketched about it. Cause the first one is good, has that horror to it. Second was all actiony, didn't mind it cause Alice looked hot. Third one was just too weird, like all telepathic and phycic.

Now the new one, not sure about the story line. But I'm gonna guess it's gonna be after the 3rd movie. But as far as I can tell, Alice is using a freaking Akimbo Ranger :mvgiggle:

Chris and Claire are also in the movie.

One of the biggest villain of Resident Evil is gonna be in it. WESKER!!!

And the freaking executioner from RE5. lol

I can only hope that they bring Jill Valentine back and this time actually wearing something that isn't demeaning, I mean yeah she looked hot and all, but seriously that last movie, the other cops weren't even like, "Hey Jill, what's with you showing off your stuff like that at work?". If it was her day off or she was in the middle of a date, then I can understand, but no, they were trying to make Jill look sleazy. I didn't really think that was too cool. =/

If I remember correctly, when she walks by the camera, all you see is her feet, and shes in heels, like she was on a date or something. She turned on the scanner, sat down, took off her heels, and it said something to the effect of 'all available stars unit need to report' or something like that. and she grabbed her gun and left. Plus, wasn't she like that in the game? I never played the earlier ones so I wouldn't know.

those screens are awesome! i cant wait..one of the reasons i got into Special effects was Resident Evil (both games and movies). i think im going to start a new sculpt of the executioner for cosplay stuff since im currently working on finishing my nemisis..but im looking forward to the movie more, then i am of the new Silent hill movie!!

i think jill will def be in this one, i mean this one looks like its going back to the actual lab part of Umbrella and will mean S.T.A.R.S. will have some type of role.

STORY LINE:

Also I know she does go to Japan. Well, that was a rumor I heard. (That's where the clones of Alice were in the last movie. I find it funny that if they do go to Japan, thats where this all started.) LMFAO Either way right or wrong, I CAN'T WAIT!! lol

The first two films were brilliant. The third was awful! I don't have much faith in this film... I will give it a chance, but I will only watch it when the DVD is in the bargin bin

I love the first two films, but I also wish they would have done the same. Maybe someday, someone will decide to start writing it:)

MIllia Jovovich is one of my favorite actresses, and the RE series is far better than most game to movie adaptations I've seen. I hope the movie is good, but even I think a 4th installment might be pushing it. Only time will tell though...

Jill Valentine's costume in RE: Apocalypse was supposed to look like it did to pay homage to the video game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from which Apocalypse was based. As for the new one, I really want to see it, but if what I hear is true and Jill Valentine is coming back they better have Sienna Guillory. She is the one and only, live action Jill. I really think that this movie will bring back some of the fire for the series seeing as how W.S. is back in the captain's chair in this one.

*EDIT* OK, I just looked at the IMDB and I don't see any Jill Valentine, but I did see that they were bringing Chris into the movies. Kind of wondering where they pick him up at since he wasn't in the convoy in Extinction.

This movie looks good and will at least end this story for us but im not excited that it didn't stick to the canon of RE and that after RE 4 was made the story was poopie. Movie can't wait for, great family movie =]
