I honestly don't mean to brag. But Saturday my parents traded off our plow truck and got a camaro and another pick up truck.
Little did I know that the pick up truck would be mine.. My mom gestured for me to go outside and my mother showed me the paper on the truck with my fathers name and me as co-owner. I was so fricken happy!
The only thing really wrong with that truck is it blows hot air.. And that the reverse/park/drive indicator doesn't work so I have to count down and drive in overdrive. Other than that. I was like. YES!!!. :)
But I will post pictures if you want.
I'm going to go now. I have to finish getting ready for school and I want to get the horses watered for mom. :)
Have a most fantastic day today guys!

Psh. As for the camaro, I'd have to go through both my parents. I was told if they still have it when they die. I get it.

That's pretty exciting. I remember when I got my first car, I felt like I was on top of the world. Driving happens to be one of my favorite things to do and a stress reliever- I raced dirt bikes, quads, and buggies from 5 to 12 years old, so driving is somewhere I'm comfortable. Make sure you take care of that car lol, owning something of that nature brings about a big responsibility.
Congrats on the truck! You should put up some pictures :)

Congrats! I remember my first car. OOhhhh the memories.
The Park/Reverse/Neutral/Drive Indicator is an easy fix! If you have a basic knowledge on how to solder you should be able to fix it.
The A/C could be such as easy fix as going to AutoZone and getting the A/C Recharge kit ;) What year is the truck?

My truck is a 90 Chevorlet. And no I don't know how to solder. I'm not the mechanical one of the family. -Cough.-
I'll post pictures soon. :) Maybe tomorrow. Or whenever we get the bale of hay out of the back of it. xD
I get to take it to school tomorrow. So I'm like. OH YEAH.

At least learn how to change the tire, and do BASIC mechanical things and you'll save yourself a lot of money in the future.

My mom let me move the camaro up a bit, so she could pull my tuck up after she unloaded the hay. Hahahahahaha.
Shh. Dad can't find out. :P

Reminded me of when I first got my cars. Was in the side parking spot of the gas station, about to leave; And these to cute girls were walking by. I tried to be mr. cool: gave em a smile, slung my arm over the passenger seat, and looked to my rear. Only to realize I overthrew the shift and it was on drive. I smacked the brakes and almost ran into the fence in front of me.
So please stay focused >:3

I wish my parents would buy me random vehicles. They're probably tired of me coming home with new ones on a monthly (sometimes weekly) basis, though.
Recharge the AC. :mvagree:

About the truck: I guess my father got in touch who the guy who owned it before we got it and that the off switch doesn't work for the heat. -Ewwwww.
@ Hero in Orbit: I try to drive safely as possible. :) I've had my license for over a year and I still nearly spaz out when a semi passes me..
And my parking skills suck. Horribly.

That shouldn't be a problem since you're in a truck. Just take it slow and curb check... Unless you got dem gangsta 22"s up on dat shizzle mah homie! *does awesome pose*

Parking isn't that bad with 22's, however because of the lower profile tires, you are more susceptible to flat tires and a bumpier ride.
And just a tip for parking inbetween cars in a parking lot. Since you are in a truck, it's harder to make the turn in one try. So instead of guessing, just do a 2 point turn. Drive slightly past the parking spot and turn towards the car parked after it. You're front of the truck should be behind the other vehicle. Then turn your wheel and reverse, aligning yourself with your parking space. Turn the wheel again and pull right in.
It's a lot easier.

O and watch backing out too. If cars are tight on you like the damn little cars do all the time here to me it will take more than one turn to back out of spots. Just take ya time :p

And my parking. has actually gotten better.. But with no cars around.. My issue is I have to line up. And then I have to pull forward. And sometimes not far enough in. xD. Love empty school parking lot in the morning. :P
