So, have you guys heard of this? I know it's a law in Wisconsin at least, but I know of other places enforcing it.
Here, you can get stopped on the sidewalk by a cop if you're pants are sagging, or if you are wearing lowrise pants that show your underwear. It's considered a misdemeanor and at the max could get you 6 months in prison or a $500 ticket.
Somehow, I think thats a good thing cause I HATE the trend of guys sagging their pants and showing their shorts, but come on, a ticket for people (minors included) on how they wear their clothes??? Hmm. Isn't that having abit TOO much control on the populace??

Thats retarded. Its lke saying no one can have piercings. Just because no one likes it, it has to be a law? Give me a break. I guess we will never have no more plumbers due to the fact of their buttcracks showing. Like wtf seriously, do something better with this country than that PLEASE. My opinon.

I know that in Venice Italy, you cant take off your t-shirt as a guy, and show your chest..no matter how hot it is. The mayor there got tired of naked mens upper bodies in the summertime, and put a law on it. He claimed all sweaty halfnaked men ruined the image of his old beautiful town.
I however think that itīs taking it too far to make saggy pants wearers criminals.Cīmon. Are they atleast being consistent and bans girls that has too low waiste cutted jeans and thongs stickin up, also?

Yep, girls are included in it as well, showing any intimate clothing will get you a ticket. Boxers or thong.

I would hate to have my pants that low because it would be very annoying to move much of your legs or run.
What is also annoying is when people have belts on and still do this, what is the point?
However that does seem like too much to be fining for it if anything at all.

I don't like when people let their pants sag too low either, but it's not worth sending someone to jail for.

They do it in schools, I suppose it was only a matter of time before it became a law. But definately, I agree with everyone.. $500 fine, or 6 months in prison? That is dumb. Somebody could walk stark naked in the city and I wouldn't wish them that kind of punishment.

Agreed completely, I also hate the trend, i mean common pants are there for a reason. I also agree its overkill for this law, as much as it bugs me, this is over the top.

I agree with everyone as well. That is a ridiculous penalty, especially since they aren't showing anything. Oh no, I saw someone's underwear. The horror....

Well it's good to know that our Law Enforcement has been kept busy, god forbid they focus their attention on rapists and murderers...

Haha, yeah just because I don't care for a particular fashion trend, doesn't mean it should be illegal! Freedom of expression...jeesh!
