Yeah I had heard that they are coming out with 3 new Halo games, including this one.

no, that's doubtful, the movie is supposed to be the halo story, at least it better be, not some stupid side story.

At its X06 event in Barcelona today, Microsoft announced a partnership with Peter Jackson to form a new studio called Wingnut Interactive to develop "world-class interactive entertainment."
But perhaps more importantly, Microsoft revealed that Peter Jackson will co-write, co-design and co-produce a completely new and original chapter in the Halo universe in collaboration with Bungie Studios. He will also work future title based on an original property from Microsoft.
"Microsoft has built an amazing living canvas with Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, which allows the storytellers of our time to express themselves in a new medium. They have fundamentally changed how people think about games," Jackson said. "My vision, together with Microsoft Game Studios, is to push the boundaries of game development and the future of interactive entertainment. From a movie-maker's point of view, it is clear to me that the Xbox 360 platform is the stage where storytellers can work their craft in the same way they do today with movies and books but taking it further with interactivity."

I think the fact that an RTS game is exclusive to a console is kinda a joke, but whatever, we'll see what they can do with it.

I doubt it will be the fall of reach. It would be a very short game. If it was just on the covanent attack on Reach. Now, if the game covered everything within the fall of reach book, then you'd have a pretty good game. I am more interested in what happened to Dr. Halsey and Kelly and what mission did they go on.
That caught my interest.

i know there is a 3rd halo game. what i said was i don't think it'll be the game of the movie. because the movie is supposed to be the halo story.

I kind of doubt Halo 3 will cover what happened to Halsey and Kelly, when the game has never introduced any other spartans besides Master Chief.
And why would they make a Halo Movie game? When the movie came from Halo series. That's just dumb mostly.

i think that they will most likely introduce spartans in halo3. and could quite possibly fill in some empty holes we want to know about. i'm sure they have read the books as well ;)
that's what i'm saying. if they made halo movie the game, it would be halo1/2 it would be dumb.
