I plan on hitting Gen Con up this year, and I want to finally be one of those people in the awsome costumes.

My question is: How much does a replica of the ODST costume cost and were can I get one?

Well, that would pretty much be the only thing I would want to be... Besides a Big Daddy Bouncer.

Here's a link to the blog of the guy who had that amazing Big Daddy costume one year. He takes commissions starting June. Maybe start bugging him now so you can have a costume for next year. :-p

Unfortunately, an ODST costume would cost you hundreds, if not over a thousand. Those types aren't cheap.

ODST costumes usually cost from 1K to 5K depends on the type of material and how long it took them to make but honestly the Big Daddy Costume is a better idea

Those are awesome. I've seen someone do a project on the gun from Portal, it was freaking sweet.

if you have the time and patience, it ends up being cheaper to just make your own, you can still use good material for almost half the price it would cost to order.

Me and my guy buddy talked about going to one of those Comic Con Conventions dressed up as something. Just couldn't think of anything, lol. But there are some awesome costumes, and plenty of things to choose from. I agree, it would probably be cheaper perhaps, to make one's own.

I am trying to make my own ODST costume! So far I have started on the helmet and haven't finished. Right now I have started the pep for the pistol. One day I will finish, hopefully it will look good and hopefully I won't have to start over. It's hard work, but worth it IF you get it right!
