I’m paranoid the world is ending
And a love I have not found
Though I must admit I’m not worried one bit
No cuz’ by love I’m not bound

People say it’s an essential
In life in love you should fall
But my dear I do fear
I don’t care for love at all

I hear it is a terrible sickness
One that breaks the heart
And if it brings a tear then my dear
Avoiding love is smart

And if I should ever die full hearted
What an accomplishment that would be
But with such goal I must control
You falling in love with me

That's a really good poem! A clear message that I totally can relate to! Not everybody is capable of being in love. Can't say I will die full-hearted because,

I offered it to my first love,
she dropped it,
and it cracked.

My second love picked it up,
and it shattered,
in her hands.

My third love, gathered the shards,
glued it together,
and held it high.

But she too was careless,
it was heavy,
and she dropped it.

That once flawless,
fragile,
trophy,
became dust the wind...
