Hey! It's Astropony from the FD forums.
I'm in PMS, as Beyla. Haven't really done much with that character, because I mostly play on my main: Lessa on Wildhammer. She was part of the best Alliance guild on the server. We were working on Patchwerk last week and had killed 5 other bosses in Naxx. But... the guild was a merger of two guilds, both who had been vying for the top spot beforehand.
Anyone who has been in a high level raiding guild, in any game, knows that there is a requisite amount of drama that comes with it. Some people think of the game as a job, some just want to have fun, and some can't leave their personality issues at the door.
In any case, the merger lasted less than 2 months. Though in that time we finished AQ40 and had a good start in Naxx, the main force keeping the guild together, despite conflicts, has retired from leading the guild.
What does this have to do with PMS(Scilla)? Well, I'll probably be playing on a certain low level priest more... when the expansion comes out, I really want to make a Draenei shaman*. The whole reason I didn't transfer to Scilla when everyone else did, was that I still had a little hope for the guild, and there are still so many of my friends on WH.
Anyway... I know most of you probably are going "WTF?" and "what's the point of this?" but I really needed to vent to someone. I don't mind not raiding, I always have had fun in 5 mans (except during the Naxx- rep grind... UGH... plus side, I know Scholo/UD Strat REALLY well now).
In any case. Hello! I forgot to register here so long ago, and now I'll be mostly lurking when there's not enough time to log into WoW between work and school ^.^
** Horde Shaman was my first class ever played. My friends moved to an Alliance guild, so I didn't have a choice :( Now I get it back! And another 70 levels to grind too! ^.^
