AVP Demo is out.

AVP (alien vs predator) is currently out for pc, Xbox 360 and play station 3, and it freaking awesome and seeing as there is no manual for you to look at and I have been playing the **** out of the game here is everything you need to know about. For starters you only get access to free for all death match with up to 8 people only 2 people can be a predator at any time and after 2 rounds new predators are randomly selected although you can go back to marine or alien if you so wish.

Things to know about for all 3 factions

Predator and Marines heal with H, as a marine you need stimpack which are a pick up and as marine energy which you can drain from energy nodes. While the alien take the halo method and heals by staying somewhere safe

You can sprint with q for and the predators this can disrupt your cloak so use it wisely

Shift for predators and alien is focus holding and press the jump button it to do a super leap, or left click to tackle your foe

Hold both mouse buttons to block. Mainly for Predators and aliens, don’t bother trying it with the marines,

Both predators and alien use melee attacks, left click for light and right for heavy, hold down both to block which can counter tackles and be broken with heavy attacks.

For instance kills, you have to be face the back of your target or hit them with a heavy attack and let the animation do its work, but be forewarn other can attack and kill you while you’re stuck in animation

Marine: the marine get the motion tracker which pretty much make them the prey and spray fraction, it will make noise should you something start moving in it field. By far the easier of the 3 faction to play All of your weapons are picks up and are listed below

Assualt rifle: one of the weapons your starter with and your best friend so long as you are alert you will kill everything that try to pray on you with this

Sniper rifle: or at least I think it is, could never get it to work for me (( I mean kill something)) so I wouldn’t suggest using it.

Shotgun: mainly effect if you up close in personal which is would only be successfully with the predators as most will sit still hoping that you would pass by them while their cloak so they can instankill you.

Flame throw: never got the chance to pick it up.

Grenades: which is lunched from the assault rifle with the right click, I’m not going to say anything about it as I pretty sure most of you know how to use it. And yes you can kill yourself with it.

Tips and advice: keep moving don’t stop for any reason and be aware of your surroundings, that include looking up on the ceiling from time to time and paying attention to your motion track, for it is a life saver. Also aim for the head… easier said than done, but will get the job done much faster

Aliens (Xenomorphs): ok these guys are bit more harder to play as they have no real range attack, they are the can be consider the fastest in game and can sprint for the longest as well. They can also crawl along walls and ceiling and super leap/tackle With that said they would be the one who be first running around breaking all the lights as the darkness is their best friend you can do a tail attack with the right click if you’re at a range. They can detect their prey in a similar way to the infected in left 4 dead, so long as they are in a certain range of them,

Tips and advice: the darkness and sprinting is your best friend, kill whatever then quickly sprinting away before whatever comes and kill you.

Predators: the hardest faction to play in game and the mix between melee and shooting, they have cloak at their disposal which can be turn on and off with R and will deactivate should you attacking anyone or do a instance kill. They can use do the super leap/tackle and Their visor has filters which they use to hunt down the prey. Filters are normal((can see everyone)), heat ((human and predators)), and the alien an one ((alien… duh)), press f to cycle through them. To use their range weapons press and hold Alt to aim, upon releasing it will fire the weapon. List of range weapons below.

Staff: a one shot instance kill weapon should you it hit’s it mark, nor really worth the time to get in my opinion

Shoulder cannon: a must get…. another instance kill “should” it hits it mark but gives away position while in use. It also uses up energy in which you have 3 shots of with a full tank. This can cause some problems as you also need energy to heal.

Disc thingy: never had the chance to use it so I don’t know what to tell you about it.

Tips and advice: by far the hardest fraction to play, mainly because of the different visor filters: in normal mode you see thing similar to that of the marines, but in heat vision you can only see humans and other predators, in the alien vision you can only see aliens. All of you range weapons can lock on, but only if you are using the right filter, so if you’re in heat you can only lock on to other predators and humans, and in aliens…. Kittens.

Speaking of aliens they can use through your cloak so should you run into one prepare to fight for your life

And last but not least, walk don’t run, seriously running is only going to give you away, and seeing as you can’t outrun a alien you might as well go out fighting, that along with the fact that running with disrupt you cloak gives you even less of a reason to run around the map. Ok there is one more… and then is to be alert and patience

Hated it... it's just a big game of hide and seek. And wtf they shoot lasers at you that blow your head off?!?

The demo was okay on the Xbox; I despise FFAs in any form, though, so it was rough for me to sit and play through it! I'm looking forward to seeing how the team multiplayer plays out before I consider buying it, though; Game Informer (which is usually spot on with games, for my personal tastes) gave it a really low score (something like 5.5/10) so I'm hesitant to buy the full game until I've played it.

Well in that case I won't even give it a rent because I hated that game enough as it was.
