So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be.

There doesn't seem to be many threads in the books subforum, so I will get this rolling! The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky has to be one of my most favourite short reads. There are so many quotes from the book that I love.

The novel is organized as a series of letters the protagonist, Charlie, sends to an anonymous individual shortly before entering highschool and throughout his freshman year.

Has anybody else read it yet?

Well, this sub forum was only created yesterday.

I've heard of it but have way too many "too read" books right now. I will look into it for some time in the future.

Tell me what you girls think of it when you're done! It's pretty short (well, in my standards).

Such an amazing book and I'm pretty excited for the movie that's coming out for it, as well.

I think it's amazingly written, I loved it. You've just reminded me to reread it! Looking forward to what the film version will be like, hopefully they won't ruin it like they do with some adaptations.
