Howdy, PMS|H2O Rhythm PS3 folks:
The following rules go into effect TODAY. It is absolutely imperative that you read and understand the rules in this thread in full. Ignorance of the new rules regarding practice is not a acceptable excuse.
Full Members
Full members are required to attend two hours of divisional (hosted) practice per week. They will also be required to log two hours of individual practice per week in the Practice & Attendance forum (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1533). Additional individual hours are not an accepted substitute for divisional (hosted) practice hours. Full members who manage to log four hours of hosted practice do not need to log individual hours for that week.
Any scheduled absences from here on out *MUST* be posted in the Absences thread (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51798). Don't PM any staff members and tell them you're going to be gone; post it in the thread, because that's where our staff will be looking when you're no longer around. It's perfectly understandable when real life intervenes or even if you're burned out and just need to take a break from the game. All that we ask is you let us know about it in advance.
Unscheduled absences of two weeks or more will result in your being dropped to Casual status. Scheduled absences of a month or more, regardless of reason, will also result in a drop to Casual status. Also, any member missing more than 25% of their practice hours over a four week period without prior explanation will be dropped to Casual Status.
Full members may sign up for one confirmed practice slot and one backup practice slot per week.
Returning Casual/Dual/Transfer Members
Members who already have a PMS or H2O tag but who are not full PMS|H2O Rhythm PS3 members need to complete four (4) total hours of divisional (hosted) practice over a minimum of two weeks to attain full membership and may sign up for two confirmed practice slots per week. Members will only receive credit for a maximum of four practice hours per week. Unscheduled absences of a week or more will require these members to restart recruitment.
PMS|H2O Rhythm PS3 Recruits
This is the biggest change to the practice and attendance requirements, so pay attention.
All recruits will be required to complete Sixteen (16) total hours of divisional (hosted) practice over a minimum of four weeks to attain full membership. Recruits may sign up for two confirmed practice slots per week. Recruits will only receive credit for a maximum of four practice hours per week. Unscheduled absences of two weeks or more will require recruits to restart recruitment. If by chance your recruitment has been terminated, you are required to wait 30 days before re-recruiting with this division or any other division within our clan. Recruits can do 4hrs/4wks of recruitment.
*Note to existing recruits*: Those recruits who are currently in the midst of recruitment (i.e. have attended their first practice) will recruit under the new rules (four hours of recruitment over four weeks). However, if you miss more than a week of practice, your recruitment will be reset and take place under the current rules. ;)
Generally, returning division members will receive priority over recruits and dual/transferring members. If a recruit is absent and their recruitment is reset, they will also be moved to the back of the hypothetical line, and must wait their turn to enter recruitment.
Practice Expectations
All members and recruits are expected to adhere to the following rules during practice:
Show up on time.
Stay for the full two hours--if you're not sure you'll be able to, don't schedule to attend practice at that time.
Give your undivided attention to the practice for the full two hours. Don't converse on the phone or with others in your room.
Adhere to the PMS Clan code of conduct as explained in the Handbook.
Maintain a good and positive attitude.
Consistent failure to follow the above rules may result in your membership/recruitment being terminated.
