Yesterday (September 23rd, 2006) I had a tornado touch down 2 miles from my work (where I was at the time) and 3 miles away from my house (1 mile north from my job). It was pretty cool. I never seen the tornado but our store director for the 2nd shift ( 3:00PM to 11:00PM ET, also my shift) was telling everyone on the entercom about the tornado warning and position and the heading of the tornado. My manager called me and told me right away where to send people when it change course to come to us. Luckly, the tornado never came and the warning lasted an hour. But we keep on getting nailed by the storms. I was very pissed off. I never seen a tornado and I wanted to see one. I been through a lot of Earthquakes in California (where I use to live), I been through Hurricane George and Floid, I been in a flood (not major), I seen a volcanio (in Alaska in 2003) but I never seen a tornado. :(

Here is the damange from my local news: http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5449097

BTW: For you want to know where this was, Kentwood/Caledonia, Michigan (SE suberbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan)

It's ok to see a tornado, but belive me, you don't want to be in one like I had back in 1993. It happened in March,1993 in the Ocala National Forest at that time I used to be living at. It was a catagory F-4 and it destroyed everything in it's path. I'm quite lucky to be alive when that happened.
