Finally, a place for all Nook owners to lend & borrow ebooks.

I recommend each person list their ebooks. If you're interested in borrowing a book, contact the owner via PM. Remember, not all ebooks are currently "Lend Me" compatible. Make sure to verify this on your device.

Once, we have a good amount of books listed, I will organize a list here.

Don't know how to lend an ebook?

All you need to know is your friend's email address. Any book that can be lent will have the following icon next to it:

http://images.barnesandnoble.com/PImages/eBooks/help/LendMe_beta_popup_icon.gif

You can lend many of your eBooks one time for a maximum of 14 days. When you use our LendMe™ technology, you will not be able to read your eBook while it is on loan, but you always get it back.

I will kick it off. Keep in mind, I will not have my Nook for another week (thanx to the Nook being on back order)

Devil's Embrace - Cathrine Coulter

Obsidian Butterfly (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series #9) - Laurell K Hamilton

Marked (House of Night Series #1)- P. C. Cast
Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater

I have other titles but they are not "LendMe" compatible at this time. I will update this post as they become available.

I've got the Meredith Gentry Series 1, 3, 4, and five soon (had two at home. lol) to lend - Laurell K Hamilton, lots of zombie stuff, and other sci-fi

How do I know if they are Lend compatible?

The Nook is the Barnes and Noble brand eReader. In my opinion, it has the best features of all the major eReaders out there (the Sony eReader and the Amazon Kindle).

How do I know if they are Lend compatible?

If you look at your library on the Barnes and Noble site you see an icon that says "Lend Me" next to the books. To see on your Nook, go to your library and select the book you want to send and tap the "View Item Details & Options" button. If it is lendable, you'll see the Lend option right under the Read option.

Unfortunately, right now the only books I have that are lendable are the ones that the Nook comes with :/

Np =)

I bought a book today that is Lend capable. I'll probably be done with it by Monday or Tuesday. It's the second book in the House of Night series. It's a young adult vampire series, and quite honestly, is becoming one of my favorite series. It's really good if you're into the whole supernatural thing. It's not your typical vampire book, either. If you're interested, get the free trial of Marked by P.C. Cast. I'll start lending the second one, Betrayed, as soon as I'm done with it =)

**EDIT** Just noticed that Marked is on Cookie Kwan's list. Does it say Lend compatible on the website? Mine isn't giving me the option for that book, but it is for the second one.

Ok, I finally have a book I can lend haha.

Betrayed (House of Night Book 2) by P.C. Cast
-I recommend you read Marked (Book 1... which isn't available for Lend for some reason) first =) You can find it in the Shop and get a free sample, remember!
Chosen (House of Night Book 3) by P.C. Cast

Currently working on book 4 =) I'm getting through these books in 2 days at most. I'm very happy with the series!

I have a Nook and am looking to swap some e-books w/people using the LendMe function. Currently I have the Anita Blake books #1-7 (by Laurell K. Hamilton) and all of them are Lend-able. I am looking for books #8-#18? (dunno how many there are in series). Let me know if you can help me out or want to borrow the beginning of the series from me! I am also interest in swapping other e-books on my Nook...

Ohh a lot of people into the Anita Blake series. I can't get into it, myself, but maybe I'll try again hehe. Once I'm done reading the book I'm on I'll ask for a lend =)

If you guys didn't know about this website - it is awesome for nook lending and borrowing.

www.booksfornooks.com

It is very organized - allows you to list your book by author, title etc.
And you can set alerts so that you can be e-mailed when a book you want to borrow becomes available. I would definitely recommend using it.

There is also a Facebook lending page.
