Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know there is a new blogging site for gamers. I am not exactly thrilled with all the advertising right in the middle of the pages, or the fact that it seems we can not hide profile information yet, but I bet this will get better!

Yeah, I made one. But I seriously doubt I'll ever look at it again or update it. Not that the site isn't really cool, because it is! I just have way too many of these, and I don't update any of them as it is.

Why does this seem like more of a dating site for gamers? lol I mean, I don't remember the "turn on/turn off's" area on myspace..its kinda creepy lol.

Is there at least an age restriction on this site?

I don't think there's an age limit because I've seen a lot of little people. But you can omit the turn on/off things :)

I personally love MGS, a lot more than myspace, actually :p

The community on MGS is still growing, so it will take awhile for it to be as good as MySpace.

What I like about it is that you don't have to search for people who are into gaming anymore.

Unfortunately I've recently become a Myspace lover, so I have to disagree. Nothings wrong with Networking and having a page (and if there is, its easily avoidable). This is debatable, especially when it comes to fake people, but that's on a case-by-case basis..

But I still stand by saying 1 is enough. I do wish, though, that instead of a "top 8 friends", there was a "top 8 links" or something.. That way I could put a picture of somebody up there, and link to their mygamerspace or wherever their preffered network is. Not that Myspace would ever do this, because that's helping promote competition.. but whatever.

I agree with others though, I dont know how muc I'll stay on top of it, becasue between Myspace, Louisvillemojo (something that blows myspace away, that I helped build for louisville and has now evolved into metromojo.com that exists for many cities now), 1up.com, and now this mygamerspace...well I am the king of slacking off at the office and even I dont think I can stay on top of all these sites....

Wow, how did I not notice this topic here. I could answer most questions about the site, seeing as I am one of the Moderators for it. Oh and there is a age restriction....even if people dont listen to it and lie.Concidering that Lil Poison is a member of the site, I don't really think that the restriction is being enforced very well ;)

That was actually cause the owner asked lil poison if he would like to join. He is the exception to the rule, and should not be the one you use for your example.

Yes I am a member and it does have some cool things like searching for music videos right on the site to add to your profile :) but I am sure it will get better in those other areas mine is in my signature here :)

The site has a very "unique" atmosphere. I can not say anything other then that because I am a bias opinion. Oh and Nightwish's profile on the site is cool. even better then mine....it makes me cry.

I think it's cool :) Its cool more for the fact that EVERYONE on there is a gamer. lol. The majority of people are H2 players. It'd be cool if you could search people based on their favorite games tho :p
But I like it. and I'm soon going to be a VIP muahahahahahahah :D

Well the forums are finnaly taking shape after being transfered to Vbulliten, with an arcade and everything, and I stole Rip's idea for the high score reset and thread (Please don't kill me Rip, I <3 you). Just thought I would say this cause I am quite proud of my acheivement.
