So I was owning on MW2...

like normal, (getting the AC130's, claymore's, etc.) until I spotted someone boosting for a Nuke. How were they? Two friends using Tac Insert and one would kill the other.

I noticed it was our dude getting killed, so, I took down the harrier, then the Chopper Gunner and hunted for this dude. Found them hiding away from the map. BOOM! Headshot :)

Then I stalked the dude on our team and got so many kills on this guy trying to find a hiding spot to boost, was so funny!

Anyone else came across this?

Yep. The only time an enemy nuke was called on me was from boosting. :mvshakefist: Guy on my team was 1 - 30 :mvangry:

I remember i was going around in domination getting kills only with the tactical knife and i end up killing a nuke booster and getting most kills/longest killstreak/highest kdr

well depending on the person using them ive killed people that are using blinged 1887's just gotta know how to move around although i dont kill them 100% of the time the kids that use them get stabbed quite a bit

Yea, I've seen a lot of randoms get shanked while using 1887's. So embarrassing. The one thing I truly wish they would have had in this game is a Tac Knife for the Glock. How sexy would THAT be?!

well i didnt stop a booster like you are saying but i did stop one on Highrise who was on the roof of the white building. if he had not killed me he would have gotten his nuke but since he did, i saw he had chopper gunner ready so i just waited for it, soon as he called it out i shot it down, he got 1 kill from it however i needed to get him to stop him so i waited for him to mess up and he did... he poked out too much on a corner of the building and stopped him 1 kill short of his nuke with my LMG (the very 1st one i forget the name). now he didnt get the other 23 kills from me but from my dumb random teamates but needless to say he was mad ha ha

I had never been in a game where someone was nuke boosting...up until about 15 minutes after I read this thread! A guy on my team was dropping tacticals in a corner and his friend was knifing him. So, I interrupted this little love fest, when the gentleman who was dying on my side began shooting at me. Friendly fire was off so I can only assume he was attempting to inform me of his displeasure with me catching onto his ruse.

I then announced on microphone exactly who the two trouble makers were and we, as a team of strangers, began stalking the culprit on our team until him and his friend left. Victory was ours.

Ive seen this happen a bunch of times. When the game was about to start some random guy kept bragging loudly over the mic about how he was going to get a nuke. He was boosting for it, and when he got a chopper gunner, I saw his guy there and killed him. He left the game real quick LOL

YAY! I love dening Nukes. You get some sort of thrill that says "YES! I pooed on your parade". The abuse I recieved afterwards, was very funny as he ran off

Nice xD Our guys were focusing on the Bomb Sites so I had the pleasure of stalking the dude bymyself. Just hid around the corners. What was funny was the dude left, and rejoined hoping I won't notice. The guy tried hiding and I just found him again :) He left for good.

MW2 is a purely defensive game. If you go running around and be all aggressive I can guarantee you will die. That doesn't mean you camp although a lot of people do. Its just somebody's style.

I'm not saying don't camp. It's a must when your playing objective game modes. This guy was playing TDM and could quite easily have moved around the area and not stand in the same spot all match.

The only time someone should be camping is when they are sniping. But even then some certain people I know like to camp at the end of the map with cold-blooded, ninja, bling with silencer, and heartbeat sensor. And that's super lame and bugs the crap out of me. :mvshakefist: I hate being in a game and in the end someone who was there from the beginning is like 2:1. But there is nothing you can do about it I guess. I run and gun all the time, if you know what you are doing you won't die that much. :D

I personally snipe... I quick scope around the map. I use stopping power pro, steady aim pro, and ninja pro, Intervention, Akimbo 44 magnum. It's one of my favorite setups.. There is a certain satisfaction when you kill somebody with a bolt action rifle.

I love sniping more than everything else, but I dont feel sniping on MW2 is the same as in MW and WaW, so I don't snipe as much as I used to.

AMEN to the run and gun ;) I get a small feeling of accomplishment sneaking behind enemy lines and taking them out one by one (either with a silencer or knife) with out them knowin I was there... Even if I only take out two its worth the death in the end :D

Wow, I've never had that happen to me before!

I have had one guy get to the top of the building (with the teddy bears) in Highrise though. I saw him. He was putting down tactical insertions and I kept killing him. He kept doing it though, so I guess he never got the idea. It was kinda funny.

In response to the whole "noob friendly" thing, they really have done this in every aspect of the game. Why is that? Tac Knife / Noob Tube / Secondary weapons no longer hand guns / Thermal / Semtex / FAMAS and M16 / Heartbeat Sensor. I'm sure there's more, but, yeah ^^

It's hilarious when people think "yay, I'm going to keep spawning even thow I keep dying" :D

I actually like the secondary adjustments. I hated using a shotty and a pistol its absolutely ridiculous. I tried the heartbeat sensor all I didn't like it because it wasn't my style. I only use it for S&D now. Most of the new editions are useless, but, they are what the real military is getting. (For instance Tactical knife isn't very precise and only good for close quarters which if you are not quick enough you die.)

They also made the Deagle have slower firing rate. I didn't like that.

You're actually playing? I've been trying to play online for the past week but when I'm in a game it makes me freeze and kicks me out 4 minutes later. On L4D now there is no game to join because there isn't any games online. MW2 doesn't even connect to a game.
