I figured I'd actually introduce myself here.
I originally come from the http://www.doacentral.com community. Been over there and playing the DOA (Dead or Alive) series online for almost two years now. I just joined the PMS clan shortly before the CGI event, which I'm sure you are all aware of by now. Since I've been playing the DOA series, and since I've been playing various fighting games in general, I've always been very dissapointed with the female representation. So I'm very happy to be the leader of the fighters division, I finally get to help out with the small female community in fighting games, and hopefully help it grow.
I go to college currently for math education, I work as a waitress on the weekend, I've been clean and sober for almost 6 years in AA and the rest of my time is spent in the DOA community.
BTW any ladies looking to get involved in the female (or co-ed) DOA/Fighting Game please head on over to http://www.doacentral.com. We have a great board specifically devoted to the female fighting game community, called the Fighting Femmes board which is located at http://www.doacentral.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=263. It's a private board so if you want posting access please PM me. We are in the works over there of setting up online training sessions.
Also if you are in the Philadelphia area, my boyfriend and I are holding offline DOA play at his apartment every thursday from 7pm-till we all pass out. For directions, questions etc., please send me a PM. Refreshments provided and transportation can be provided if you are close enough. For some more details you can check out, http://www.doacentral.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11351.
Anyway, look forward to getting to know everyone.:)
