what do i do if i try to connect and i cant and i test it and it fails on the icmp part?

The problem could be your router. The ICMP test shows how your router handles ICMP packets. Your router might not be XBL compatible. You could try checking out the router's manufacturer website to see if you need a firmware upgrade or if that doesn't work, and if possible, get a different router that's XBL compatible for sure. That's odd ... You can't change ICMP settings, at least there's no way that I know of, so the only thing I can think of would be that a firmware upgrade is needed.
