Reasons to own a psp :lumines, lemmings, dark mirror, metal gear acid, field commander, mavrik hunter x,ghouls n ghosts (not yet released) ,gta and wipeout!!!!

I love surfing the net wirelessly from psp-easy to check hotmail (live beta has issues)
I even enjoy umd movies. While waiting in line for x-men 3 i was watching x-men 1
on my psp.

Sony did a great job designing the psp. The movies must become cheaper to be viable.

The Nintendo DS Lite.

but seriously, i got a PSP, and sold it and got a DS. the DS has waaaaay better games, more entertaining games.

plus the GBA Movie Player makes it even better.

To bad you think that way, have you upgraded your firmware? Many features came out so far.

I got the PSP and the DS but I think the DS has the better games, I currently
just use the PSP to listen mp3's, and I also use it to internet sometimes.
Its going a little bit slow, but if when my sister is on the pc I just turn my psp on.

I love my PSP. I do find that when my characters in my games are in motion, I tend to get a headache though. :|

I use it for movies, TV shows, internet access on the go, games, images & mp3's. Who can ask for anything more? =)

With the PSP you don't need such device to watch movies and I am not talking about those UMD disc either.

that is true.
but for way less expensive the DS can do almost exaclty what the PSP can do. just not web browser.
eventually, probably mid of next year, ill be getting a PSP. if they come out with devil may cry like they originally said when the PSP first came out.

September they will release the eyetoy for the PSP, which you be able to do video voice over IP. October you will be able to have GPS Capabilities, already has a location-free player which is an device which you hook up to your tv,dvd, computer, and stereo system to and be able to access your movies, tv, and music as well as radio all over the world using your psp device. Sony did mention you be able to play older ps2 games but didn't say a time frame on that. Flash games are coming in the mix since the psp just had an update to do flash now.

when i want to watch movies on the go, i use my iPod video (which does a much better job of music and movie playback than the psp can do) and it has alot more space than the psp can dream of.

Yup i did upgade my firmware, but the stuff added to date really is of no use. Very few ppl have the location free player base station that the psp's location free player needs. Browsing the web on the psp is slow and just plain inconvenient, so why even bother.

I enjoyed it when i got it at launch, but its novelty wore off pretty quick.

In all truth, (this is just my opinion), the psp is really over-rated:(

I have both .. I perfer my DS over my PSP ... The PSP does have some good games out now and will in the near feature (Silent Hill Orgins), but the DS games just have more to them ... In the near future the DS will be online .. I tried the demo at E3 .. It was running a little slow because of all the other stuff that was online but should be faster by the time it comes out .. I of course went to PMS web site when i was playing around with it:)

Can always go with a Pocket PC phone which you can stream music, video, and do remote desktop to your computer. I set it up to stream my library to my pocket pc.

I just want a portable gaming device........not an almost handheld PC. I probably could care less if the thing could scratch my back or tie my shoes........ I want portability, fungames, lightweight, and the ability to play for more than 2-3 hours when on the road.

Go Mario!!.....oh and mariokart kicks serious behind:p

I saw like 3 or 4 PSPs during the entirety of PAX. However, there were DSes all over the place. I think it's pretty clear who's winning that battle...

My fave? This PSP case. :)
