Okay i upgraded my PC to Windows 7 Ultimate from Vista Basic (Finally) and i been hearing alot about Windows 7 having Directx 11 built in the Software.. So my dumbest question of the day/night is.. Does this mean i have Directx 11 now ?

Uh.. yes, and no.
You "have DirectX 11", but unless your video card supports it, no, you do not.

It means that some applications with animation will be driven by DirectX 11. If you do not have a video card that supports it, it will run them in DirectX 9, or 10.

i see ....I already upgraded to Win 7 Looks to me like Hardware needs to be Upgraded as well ! seems like a 50/50 thing between Hardware and Software huh :D

Yes you need to get one of the new DX11 Cards. Right now ATI is the only one with DX11. We saw them at unavailing at QuakeCon and they are pretty sweet.

Lol. Best Buy will probably rip you off. For computer hardware, try and find local computer businesses, they'll have better prices often, and better service.

Or, try online. Online is a GREAT place to find epic deals.
Newegg is a good place to check.

I just notice something......Don't i need to upgrade the motherboard to run this graphic card as well as the sound card ?

So far my PC can run Doom 3 good but when i go to the online multiplayer it gets crazy lag ! cause of so much explosions

If your software requirement is completed with Directx 11 then you have no require to install the another version for directx. And if your requirement not completed with directx 11 then you can install another version of directx.
