View Full Version : PMS Battlefield 2 Team?

Hey everyone...

I've been contemplating/chatting with Twin about starting a BF2 team, but I'm not sure if there's a whole lot of interest in it at this point. I seem to be having a tough time finding additional women to play, though I do have a few that are fairly good lined up.

If anyone is at all interested, please let me know - prior experience isn't all that necessary, since we can easily get people up to speed. I also can get 20ID (who won BF2 at CGI) to help us out with scrims and learning the game better, etc.

I know that BF2142 is around the corner, but from what I've heard from the Pro BF2 community, they may not make the switch. So ideally BF2 has some life in it yet.

However, if I can't generate enough interest in a BF2 team, I was thinking of maybe getting some girls together for Quake Wars: Enemy Territory or maybe Team Fortress 2? Depending of course, on how the games turn out.

BF2 is awesome. I hope you get a team together. It'd be fun playing with some people from here.

Also you should try out the Point of Existence 2 mod. It's awesome. There's a few little bugs in it, but still it's a nice change from Vanilla BF2 from time to time.

CGI has a very compressed version of the game, but it still is quite competitive. There's a huge challenge with the game due to the still relatively high system requirements, long loading times, and large team requirements, but if you're able to make one work I wish you the best of luck with it. I bought BF2 shortly after it came out, but never really could get into it.

This is a thread for a PMS bf2 division, not about Team Fortress, if you want to find something about Team Fortress go to steampowered.

Anyways, if you find some people to help out for the division, I can lead my help for practicing and what not. I know one Pms girl here that plays bf2 not sure if you have talked to her or not. But I wish you luck and will be here if you'll need help.

Though I'm not a girl, I would be up for BF2...if I can ever figure out what my dang password is to get in. Played the demo and had bought the game when it came out to only find that I could NOT play it at all...weird.

But I'll definitely be up for Team Fortress Classic 2...I was a huge fan of the first one and the second one releases sometime in Mid-Late November along with Portal and Half Life 2: Episode Two.

I have BF2 but have only played it a couple times. I'd be willing to learn though if another girl is absolutely needed. I adjust to most FPS PC games easily though.
