ok i want to get a better headset for my 360 and ive been looking at the turtle beach earforce x1 head set. they seem pretty good and for not a bad price. and i seen another pair by earforce for about a 100 bucks witch looks about the same as the other ones. anyways what headsets do u guys recomend? and do any of u have the earforce x1 headset?

I used to have the Turtle beach x1's. Bang for the buck they are great. I have a set of Tritton AXPRO's right now that are BEAST. Expensive as hell but personally worth it. If your not wanting to drop a ton of money on a headset i would certainly suggest the x1's. Im sure someone around here that has a set of Astros that are hella expensive that would be able to tell ya about those.

weeell i have the x1 and like it a lot more than my guys wireless turtle beach..first..no batteries lol and the sound isn't as wireless sounding? does that make sense? like how bluetooth can get a lil distorted? plus if you are like me and sit on headsets a lot...a lil less money goes a long way
oo this is my 300th post so i'm happy u could be involved :)

Astros, hands down. They even let you customize them.

I have Astro's, they are the best on the market but are not always cost effective.

If you don't want to fork out the cash I say go for the trittons.

Love my A40 system.

I used a steel series Xbox 360 headset untill my dog chewed the wire.. i got them for abour 60 pounds. I am now using a pair of Fatility pro gaming headset and they are not very good they give off loads of sound so the people who are with you complain about hearing it.

I would personally look up steel series here (http://www.steelseries.com/us) because they have good headsets in my opinion but its your choice :)

I have and LOVE my X1's. :) for being the cheapest expensive headset, they do the trick. I can't game without them anymore lol it's just not the same! If you have the money, get Astros because I've mostly heard crappy things when it comes too Trittons. If you don't have the money, go with X1's. You get the best bang for your buck, for sure.

ofcourse there are astro's, but there's the X41's which may i say, are 7.1 headphones. So to me, trump the Astro's in everyway (even price).

I really wouldn't advise X1's, they break ever so easily, and haven't lasted more than 6 months for anyone i know :(

Really, if you're not looking to splash $250 on a headset, get a pair of X3's they're great.

My TurtleBeach headset is just horrible it was a waste of $100 for me, it eats batteries like candy, and even worse with my rechargeable ones. However I do like the sound piggyback capability that it uses. Thanks Dynamic for the information I'm about to look up Astro now.

I have me some Turtle Beach x1's and I absolutely LOVE them! You can hear enemies walking from a mile away! xP Plus, they are relatively cheap for "Pro Gamer" headsets and they do the job! And like Spifey said, I've heard some bad reviews on Trittons. And personally, out of the Turtle Beach collection the $70 set is as good as the (oh no!) Wireless $200 set. O.o Lol. Personal opinion. Good luck choosing!

I've had the X1's for almost 2 years. Lots of wires YES! But you don't have to worry about batteries..
