i dont like em...the quality of the pics are horrible, but looking beyond that, the game just looks more complicated..wtf is up the the hud...its got a bajillion things on it..lame

i call shenanigans because of the last 2 screenshots. whats up with the needler/spartan laser/carbine hybrid? 2nd looks like an MP5 or some MW2 gun wuth just a scope and the BR counter.

of course the pictures arent going to be amazing... the game isnt suppose to be out until NEXT YEAR lol. i think halo reach is going to be epic. from what ive read about it and from the screenshots it looks a lot like halo 3, brs ftw<3

You mean the Earlier version of the BR? lol and what do you mean the graphics aren't better? Better than Halo 3 and ODST.

Better than Halo 3 and ODST.well HALO ODST is running on the HALO 3 engine so yeah is going to look the same but they say that HALO REACH is running on a new engine (don't know the name of it) so it should look better then both games but the graphics still looks the same :( !

Oh yeah lol i forgot that HALO REACH is based on the war before HALO 1 and when Master Chief wasn't the only Spartan alive.

Yeah already knew about the before part but anyway ODST looks actually a tad better than Halo 3. Compare 2 screens and look at the more detail. And keep in mind these are screens that are shown very early. Anything could change from now and then.

I know RIGHT! it's supposed to be set 20 years BEFORE the first halo. and there are more advanced weapons...... maybe they're supposed to be prequel weapons but i guess we won't know till we get to play the beta. regardless i'm still stoked. i just hope its' longer than ODST was.

You know what's funny about the pictures? Someone nabbed the EXIF data off of them, and sent it to Bungie. The tester who took the pictures name, of course, was in the EXIF data of his camera phone.

Other than that, weeee Reach, been saying it for years, that it would make a GREAT game.

About the weapons, if you read the Halo books, you'll know what weapons existed when, etc. The Battle Rifle we know, is actually the second version (MKII), so an old one may have existed (no, the AR is not the BR MKI).

Yeah, I'm a nerd when it comes to Halo. Sue me.
