Yeah, I drove all the way over to Michigan to pick this little beast up...in the 1st pic thats as soon as we got home...he was all scared and nervous lol. I remember the first night, we had to keep him in the kitchen because he wasnt housetrained or anything yet, but he kept crying and yelping...so I had to sleep out on the kitchen floor with him that night :mvlove:

From i was 3 to like 13 i had pets so it sucked when i moved into the big city and i couldn't have any pets anymore -.-
I loved my sankt bernard, it was a huuuge teddy bear.. that drooled a lot xD

ahh yeah that does suck...I wanted to find a place in NYC but not many places allow large dogs like mine =\ and yea bernards drool like craaaazy lol but they are so damn cute =P

I know, so what if it drools a tiiiny bit it's hella cute. Just take cover when a bernard shakes cause then it's almost like it's raining inside xD

Oh and they both love kittens so its safe for those other furry creatures. Squirrels on the other hand - need to run! Only squirrels...ferrets, mice, hamsters and all of those furry creatures he doesn't care about. Guess he doesn't like foamy all that much eh?

Aww, he's an old pup. Good thing the toy breeds can live for a long time. I have a Boston Terrier that's 9 years old, but unfortunately their maximum age is around 16. He's well over halfway there. :/

Still has a lot of life in him, but he's certainly aged and become a lot more lazy. He used to be in tip top shape, but he's let himself go a little. :p

He had some weird colour inside his eye, I went and got a vet to check it and he said it was fine, that cats can have weird eye markings. Which is right, they can.

So I left it for a couple of years, it started getting worse so I finally decide to get it checked out by an animal eye specialist. She suspected that it was possibly a melanoma and that I needed to have his eye removed (which isn't an easy decision, what if she's wrong? :( ).

So I eventually go with her suggestion, and it turns out to be in the early stages of cancer. Kinda lucky (or at least I hope) that I went and got that second opinion in the end. :(

He's healthy and happy now though. :mvcelebration:

Glad that you caught it early! Pets are truely an awe inspiring thing. When you raise them well they don't have the corruption or the judgement/stereotypes of society. Loyal and respectful all the way.

Well I'm really glad that you were able to get it out before it spread and became too late. :mvclap:

Does losing that one eye affect him in any way like in balance or direction?

First few days he was running into things and misjudging jumping up onto things because his depth perception was completely off, but now he's fine, and you wouldn't even know he had anything wrong with him (minus the whole 1 eye thing :p ).
