Well, here in KC, we're having an international film fest, called KIFF, and this year's guests of honor were George A. Romero and Tom Savini. I attended the showing of "Night of the Living Dead" last night, and afterwards there was an autograph signing at the nearby Holiday Inn in Overland Park. Teh pics!
I look demented, as if I played a part in the original Dawn of the Dead standing next to the star, Tom:

In line for George's autograph. Note the Kansas license plate ;) :

Of course, me with George after he signed me poster:

George is rather nice, and we talked about filmmaking for a leetle bit. I learned the importance of budgeting and, well, copyrighting. ;)

Course, I'm only bragging about this because KC's biggest draw is a BBQ contest. George is a legend, so his appearance was a huge event.
