WCG US Finals: PMS Mystic and H20 Master and H20 King

FYI, I just wanted to let you know PMS Mystic Weasel and H20's, Master & King, are at the WCG this weekend batteling for the National Championship! Winners get to represent the US in the World finals, so make sure you go support them in the DOA Central (http://doacentral.com/)and Got Frag (http://www.gotfrag.com/)forums! This is the best the US has to offer, so show your pride in them getting there!

Yay, I had the chance to meet mysic at E3, havn't had the opportunityt o meet Master yet (although i've heard a lot of good things), but a huge congrats and best of luck to them both!

Actually, they went through online qualifers, regional qualifiers AND regional finals to get there. Mystik actually placed 3rd at the regional final (only top 2 were suppose to move on), but someone couldn't make it so they asked her (as third placement) to go instead! Unfortunalty, I just found out her and Master have to play each other first round! Figures, our H20 and PMS, lol! It is double elimination though, so whoever loses will have a second shot! :)

Here at WCG in the ATI booth, we ran a Prey tournament ourselves and 32 lucky players got to compete for prizes ranging from X1650 to X1900 XTX + AMD FX 55! One of those 32 was Mystik who was lucky enough to grab one of the final seats. She placed second in her heat so unfortunately didn't get to advance to prize rounds but she played well for a console player on a PC!! :) Now if only she could gamble legally here...

Hey everone, I just wanted to update you. 3D Master and King went at it in the end for the finals, and Master won WCG! He will be the US representive to battle it out in the world finals for America! I know we are use to seeing our PRO h20's win on other games, but it is really nice to see a fighter win too! Great job to Master and King for the win, great job to Mystic for getting there! Your are all truely insperational! Please give them a shout out in forums they are mentioned in like Gotfrag & GGL! :)

You are right there. I've played almost 3000 matches on DOA4 and consider myself decent, but I know Master would be able to beat me with ease if I ever played against him. Major props to players like him, even after they hand me 20 losses in a row. :)

If Mystic is the girl who played against DrDogg and Master, then I was really lucky.

She was pretty cute, I had the luxury of the DoA4 tables being attached to my PGR3 tables, so I got to see her own some people b4 she played her group stage.

I was going to run the DoA4 event, but they switched me to PGR3 at the last minute.

Too bad she had a hard group.

Big props to Master and Mystik

I can say that Mystik really played well at WCG which if all went well we should have some of her match on video later. Getting Master and DrDogg was a tough draw and she took a set from DrDogg making him sweat out the final round.
