Well at least you got to give him props for doing it big for him self and letting everyone know that gaming isn't a waste of time and more like a competitive sport.

I strongly agree. I still don't think he's the "top gamer in the country" but that's just me.

As for MTV's Cribs.. I don't know yet. According to the MLG Forums it hasn't even been filmed yet. I'll keep an eye and and post when I know. :)

"top gamer" is a broad description. To be the top gamer, you would have to be the top in every genre of games. To which, I know he definitely is not. But I imagine he was aiming for "top Halo 3 player in the country". I don't follow pro circuit Halo 3 so I don't really have a say on this.

Getting gaming heard and out of the "you live in your moms basement" stereotype is awesome, but MTV cribs? That's over the top. There are plenty of underground, and up and coming musicians, athletes and actors/actresses who would have a much more deserved place on the show.

Exactly. I believe the show "WCG Ultimate Gamer" gives better respect to the "top pro gamers"
