Xbox Connect is how we used to play Halo 1 with others before Halo 2. Sadly, if you got too many people in a game, it would lag horribly.

There's nothin wrong with makin an account on there. I get a lotta lag on both H1 and H2, but its worth a try. I mean, it IS free. It's a pretty good self esteem booster too, because some of those kids are mega bad :p

It is good for Halo (1), the lag does tend to suck with more than 2 boxes. People are pretty bad on there I'd have to agree.

I have an account with XBconnect. I would say it's actually not to bad. The only problem with it is is that there may not be anyone or any group playing a game that you want to. It's different than xbox live in that way where you can just boot up any game and there is usually someone playing it. But i would say try it out and see for yourself, I tend to like it myself though! :)

:D Yippy! I finally got my first XBConnect account:D ! My nickname is the same as my gamertag though:) . Now I have to wait until one of my Xboxes come back from MS.
