CSS = Screen flickering?

Hey i was wondering if anyone else is having a monitor problem. Like when i play CS:S, after a few mins(sometimes secs) into the game my monitor starts flickering. It looks/sounds like its trying to alt+tab, and it just keeps on flcikering from black to the reguler screen :-(. Seems like if i look at the ground it would stop for a few secs, but once i look back up it starts again. Also this happens mostly everytime when i join a game.

My Specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2100+
1.25GB of Ram
GeForce 4 Ti 4200
Windows XP Pro

That used to happen to me every once in a while, but it only does it sometimes. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but maybe you should try changing your screen resolution in-game.

Does this happen everywhere else or just in counter strike source. and have you updated your latest drivers for your video card. Try those first and see if that helps you out then if it doesn't post back.

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
