I've noticed a few late people posting duplicate forum posts, so for the beefit of me jumping up and down on my bed saying "I've already seen this 100 times before!" I thought I would make a post and actually list what videos have been published.

All links are to youtube videos from the InfinityWard channel. I really don't expect to see any other posts posting links to these videos which have already been discussed. Please, either discuss them on the original posts or when future videos have been released here. I'm going to keep updating this thread every time a new video is out. Please, do not reply to this post UNTIL a new video is out as there are other posts discussing these videos.


Now for the real reason: I challenged PMS Legolas to a race to post the next video as we are both posting MW2 Vids. I made this thread so we can reply to it, and the first with their link here wins! Sorry Legolas, I was up really early (can't sleep) and I just saw it posted!

Yes, we're getting lots of Gameplay videos instead of a beta. This thread is for official videos im afraid, If we were to have fan ones, we'd have tons of them posted by the end of october I think. Anyway, I've posted an awesome thread today, it explains the kill streak bonuses of Mw2 and has the predator missile in action (It's player controled!!!). Thought I might give a lil information. On Sunday, there's supposed to be this Major Football game over in America? Defending Super Bowl Champions or something. Anyway, the next trailer for MW2 is apparently too big for a post to youtube, too big for a post to the Video Market places. It's so big apparently, that it will premier during an Advertisement during the aforementioned match! I so can't wait right now =] Hopefully a link will be up and running ASAP when it's on IW's Youtube channel :D

I've gotta say.. first, thanks for posting all the links, that was a great idea.. but for sake of not posting another link, I'll mention it here..

I love CoD more than any game I've ever touched, and spent more than enough time playing every release with the words "Call of Duty" in the title (including the bad ones).. but I can't help but feel.. odd about what I've seen in the latest trailer. (if you haven't seen it, don't read on, and watch it using Liberyjames' link above)



The ending, showing the White House under seige, Washington engulfed in fire, and destroyed; obviously nuked; likely by the terrorists shown in previous videos in the blood stained airport is more than a little dis-settling to my normal thought process.

Rich story telling has always been part of the CoD history, and I'm sure this one will be no different, but living in the time we do, sometimes the powers at be, wherever they are in the entertainment business, seem to forgot that certain things are slightly taboo, albeit only a little, to some people.

I guess my point of this rant is solely this... am I alone in this thought=

I will still buy, and play this game, but does anyone else hope that the scene shown in the video is more of a "terrorist dream sequence" in the game, and not actually a playable part of the game? I would like to keep my "destruction of US cities" (which I might add, is a real probability considering the state of the world) in games like Fallout 3, than in games that taut to be "Modern Warfare", not "Future Warfare"

I don't think your alone Zwanka. Many people are questioning if this was one step two far and I have two answers:

1) This is IW, I doubt entirely that they'll go to far. They're always on the ball, and I think this will be epic!
2) I wouldn't mind if that scene was within the game. It adds a sense of realism into the air. Now, I can understand why this might be unsetteling you. However, Im sure it has a MAJOR impact in the game. If it was London, or Tokyo, then, not as powerful. Washington is home to the most powerful man in the world, and I bet when that game is played and you see the aftermath of the nuke, the raw emotion that the game will create will just be immense and make you pick up that controller and Headshot everyone =] We'll see

I feel IW should feel comfortable showing the destruction of US cities, otherwise they fall tool to censorship. Remember this is a video game, not a prediction, a lot of people play the game as a way to get away from work/school - so why shouldn't it take a walk on the wild side?

Other than that, is there anyone who wants to form a team for matchmaking? So we can dominated public matches the day of release.

OMG! I just cried. The launch vid is so beautiful. It is like watching a movie. Better then the crap movies we got out now. Next week is going to be epic. I don't know how I will control myself until then. I will be at midnight picking up my copy. For the first time, I'm happy I work on Monday and then I can just hang out at game stop afterwords until midnight since I work in the mall. That will rush the time until i can get my hands on MW2.
