the blood effects aren't that good, that is in the color.

and the fact that it's not online. but then again. it's just a co-op game. and the single player looks like it'll be more than 5 hours (PREY) and actually have an in depth storyline

Proskills has been following this game for awhile. Looks awesome. Some neat use of the new motion sensing controller as well.

Yeah, the game looks awesome *BUT* Alan Wake running on an overclocked Quad Core PC looks so much better.. why dont we all jump on the fanboy wagon and argue which is better until our eyes bleed?

meh halo 3 hasn't impressed me graphically. But then again watching RFOM being played at digital life didn't either, playing gears on a 720P screen here looks far better than what I saw on the high def screens at the sony booth.

true, but now that i have played it, i can back it easily, i don't deny that what i used to say and what i am saying now was hypocritical but i actually know now instead of it being just speculation.

This game IS awesome.... I love the graphics and the gameplay is just incredible. Sometimes the monsters scare me. LOL.

And the game IS online - it's 1-40 players. And amazingly, there's not as bad of a lag as Socom CA's 32-player max rooms. :)

See what I dont get is all where doing is splitting hairs here. You say this I say that who is right? I must admit some games may look more apesing graphics wise but im a try gamer im not interested in graphics, if graphics are good that is a plus. I play/buy a game for the gameplay not the graphics

not at all. in my review of the game i said that the maps are almost too big, in a 20v20 match i was in i could barely find anyone because the map i was playing on was overly huge. but on a different map it was perfect. i dont know, i love the online though i freakin love it.
